Post Botox Tip – Allow your skin to recover after treatment by not massaging or rubbing the site of the injection. It’s important to let your skin heal & recover after the injection. Typically patients will see final results within five – seven days.

Plastic Surgery Myth – Botox is the Same As Dysport & Xeomin. Botox is the brand for a drug called “Botulinum Toxin”. Although Botox is one of the most popular & frequently requested Botulinum Toxins, some patients prefer the results from Dysport and Xeomin.

This video has some great exercises to help patients maintain their post-CoolSculpting results. In fact, this is a great exercise routine for any post-operative body contouring procedure performed in the abdominal region.

Long lashes aren’t just for vanity. A recent study revealed that the real function of our lashes is to protect our eyes from drying out. Scientists studied eyelashes in a variety of mammals & found that “eyelashes are always about 1/3 as long as the eye wide, which, it turns out, is the ideal length for diverting airflow around the eyes & reducing evaporation”.

Post Botox Tip – Skip the gym for 24 hours after treatment. Exercise causes an increase in blood circulation. Typically this is great for the skin, but this can also increase the risk that the Botox will be taken away from the injection zone before it’s fully absorbed.

Post Botox Tip – Avoid lying down on your stomach for the first night. Botox needs some time to settle after treatment, so you should avoid pressing your face against your pillow when sleeping. Instead, try laying on your back for the first night.

#SkincareTip – Avoid constantly touching your face. Constantly touching/rubbing your face with your fingers or resting your face on your hands can lead to breakouts because of the transfer of oils, dirt, & bacteria from your fingers.

In addition to the numerous, affordable non-surgical procedures on the market, financing options (such as Care Credit) allows almost anyone to enjoy the cosmetic benefits of plastic surgery today.

Bigger isn’t always better. A recent ABC news report found that many women in NYC who seek a breast augmentation are requesting a modest increase (approximately one cup size). Right now, this trend is most popular in both NYC and Los Angeles.
