"Aurora Above the Lofoten Islands"
Reine, Lofoten Islands - Norway

One of my favorite places to visit in the winter months is found in the northern region of Norway. Above the arctic circle you will find the Lofoten Islands, a series of connected islands that have some of the most impressive fjords and mountains in the world. In the winter months you have a great chance of seeing the Northern Lights if you are lucky enough to have clear skies.

"Golden Icebergs"
Jokulsarlon, Iceland

As ice breaks off from a near by glacier, it is pushed out to sea by the ocean tides. However as it reaches the ocean, waves push much of the ice back up onto the black sand beach near Jokulsarlon, Iceland...providing an incredible amount of photographic opportunities for photographers in the area.

I currently have just one spots left on my 2016 Iceland Summer Adventure, but will be announcing additional workshop dates if you are keen to visit this incredible country yourself!

It shouldn't be a surprise to anyone that I have an obsession with Iceland. I have been to this country more than any other country in the world and each time I go, I find new things to focus on...new ways to see the same locations under different lighting conditions. For this image of Kirkjufellsfoss, I opted for a very low angle not only to bring in more sky to my frame but because the spray from the waterfall was working in my favor. By using my 6 stop ND filter along with a CPL from +Formatt-Hitech, I was able to get a 25-second exposure to help give the water a dream like feel while also helping me remove the other photographers that were walking around the scene as I captured this shot.

"Fields of Icelandic Lupines"
Vik, Iceland

Summer is one of the best times of the year to visit Iceland. Not only do you have the waterfalls around the country flowing in full force, but lupine are also in season. While you can find them spread throughout much of the country, they are most prominent in South Iceland. Here you can see the popular Vik church with a field of lupine in front of it, just after sunrise.

"Dreamy Waterfalls"
Skogafoss, Iceland

No matter how many times I visit Iceland I am constantly in awe of just how beautiful everything is. Every season in Iceland is different, allowing me to find new lighting conditions to capture scenes I have seen many times.

For this image, I used a long exposure to capture movement in the waterfall itself (utilizing my +Formatt-Hitech CPL filter from the Colby Brown Signature Edition Landscape Photography Filter Kit). While editing and stylizing the image in Lightroom, Photoshop and Color Effects Pro 4, I decided to add a touch of "Motion Blur" to the clouds to help add to the dream like feel of the image, otherwise I would of needed an exposure of atleast 2 minutes to get the same result.

"Light Painting Waterfalls"
Aldeyjarfoss, Iceland

When working in very dark environments, such as trying to photograph a waterfall under the Northern Lights in Iceland, it can help to creatively paint in light using a powerful flashlight. It takes patience, trial and error and vision to pull it off, but when you do...it is very much worth it!

"The Northern Lights Above Iceland"
Vik, Iceland

One of the most incredible winter experiences one can witness is seeing the Northern Lights for the first time. This photo of a church in Vik, Iceland was one of the first times I saw the lights for myself during an impressive KP4 solar storm.

The Criminals are familiar with police and people in the post offices 📪. I believe that the criminals had used public records and had developed abductions through the boston logan airport and airlines. The Criminals had copyed the crimes of other criminals that had developed murder cases throughout the area called the city of new bedford Massachusetts. The people that once lived in the area called the state of Massachusetts were murdered between the years of 1960 to 2000. However , its now 2016 and still the criminals had developed burglary and mistaken identity cases throughout the area called the city of new bedford Massachusetts. You can blame the people in the area called the state of Massachusetts and others from around the united States. The Criminals had used islands to murder and abductions through the boston logan airport and airlines called the SATA INTERNATIONAL AIRLINES. The SATA INTERNATIONAL AIRLINES WAS USED BY CRIMINALS as the smart criminals had murdered people in the area called Azores PORTUGAL. Then the smart criminals had developed abductions through the boston logan airport to develop burglary . the burglary were THROUGH the city of new bedford court system and law firms were asked to help however, the smart criminals had developed burglary and mistaken identity and break and enter to poison me as the criminals in business's are involved and are acting as the police... The Criminals had developed burglary through the court system and are involved with abductions through the boston logan airport and airlines....

"A Tigers Glare"
+The Wild Animal Sanctuary, Colorado

While I have never considered myself a wildlife photographer, I certainly do love capturing wildlife images while working on projects around the globe. This image was taken at +The Wild Animal Sanctuary, located just 35 minutes outside Denver, Colorado. It was taken while I was testing out the +Sony a7R II camera before it was released to the public. Needless to say the AF, ability to use 3rd party lenses and 42mp of resolution helped make this image what it is.

"Hidden Icelandic Falls"
Skogar, Iceland

When it comes to exploring Iceland, there are still plenty of locations that are both incredibly beautiful and seldomly traveled. One of those locations is the hidden waterfall in Skogar, Iceland...home of the incredibly popular Skogarfoss Waterfall that nearly everyone that visits the island comes to see.

To get this shot I had to place my tripod and camera out in the middle of the river formed from this waterfall. I used my +Formatt-Hitech CPL filter to cut the reflections from the water and a shutter speed of .8 as it helped me find a nice balance between a more dream like long exposure and the frozen nature of using a faster shutter speed.

"Inside an Ice Cave"
South Iceland

When it comes to cold weather photography, it is hard to beat just how amazing it feels to explore the inside of an Ice Cave. One of the best places in the world to do this is Iceland, simply because of how accessible these caves are.

This image consists of 6 different exposures blended together using the program Oloneo. From there it was edited and stylized in Photoshop, +ON1 Perfect Effects 10 and Color Efex Pro 4 by +Nik Collection by Google. The image itself was taken with a +Sony a7r with the Sony 16-35 f/4 FE lens. #SonyAlpha
