The Bitches say: D. CoCo Sala is the Willy Wonka of restaurants, and definitely the place to go for dessert, chocolate, and frou frou cocktail concoctions. For brunch, the non-saccharine cuisine struggles to meet our standards. Read the full review on our site!

Wish I could do a 4.5 Stars. The drinks are phenomenal and most are great as mocktails. My favorite I the Fetish with fresh strawberry frothy goodness. The macaroons are first rate, nothing beats chocolate on chocolate!

I wanted to come here with a few girlfriends for my birthday, but in the end, I came here with one of the girls for a Christmas gift exchange. We booked Sunday brunch reservations. The place is very cozy and lounge-like, with plenty of cushy seats and swanky décor. In addition to a dark chocolate with peanut butter co co (aka hot chocolate), I ordered the three-course brunch experience. The first course is a chocolate fritter amuse bouche. I chose the French toast s'mores as my main dish. This decadent dish is a cinnamon brioche stuffed with house-made marshmallow, dark chocolate, and graham shortbread, and comes with a side of warm banana compote and milk chocolate mousse. For my dessert, I chose the Onyx, which is dark chocolate mousse, vanilla crème brûlée, salted caramel, and a brownie rolled into one chocolately concoction. They also had a little bon bon on the side. So I obviously OD'ed a little on chocolate that afternoon. Everything was very rich and filled with chocolate. Looking back, I probably should have chosen a lighter main course, but I was in the holiday spirit and wanted all chocolate. I enjoyed sipping my hot chocolate which came with a housemade marshmallow. Everything was pretty good. I'm glad they put a side of warm banana compote with the French toast s'mores because it balanced out the chocolate. I couldn't even finish the Onyx but the single taste I had of it was velvety and a little smoother than I was expecting. I could have probably done without the chocolate fritter, but it came with the brunch experience. The three-course brunch cost $26, which I thought was worth it since if I ordered the same things a la carte, it would have cost more. I could probably come back just for a co co drink. Great spot for dates and get togethers with girlfriends. If you're a dessert/chocolate lover, you'll probably enjoy Co Co Sala.

I've been to Co Co Sala multiple times and have never had a bad experience. I've gone on dates, with friends, with large groups. I even attended a holiday party there. My most recent visit was for dessert and drinks. My date and I had done dinner elsewhere but I really wanted the Onyx dessert from Co Co Sala. Onyx : dark chocolate mousse / vanilla crème brulee / salted caramel / crispy chocolate pearls / brownie. Sounds delicious, right? I'm pretty sure it's one of the best desserts in DC. I had some wine with my dessert, first the happy hour Cabernet Sauvigion, which was terrible, but the bartender happily replaced it with a tasty Pinot Noir. My date had an Old Fashioned that was great as well. (Note, during the summer Co Co Sala has happy hour all night Monday - Thurs.) Service was quick and great, as always. The bar area was pretty crowded but we easily found a seat. This restaurant is easily one of my favorites in DC.

The guy at the front desk was so rude as he refused to give us a table even though are the tables were empty. He said I have to get a reservation and when I check with open table reservation there was an empty table every 15!!! I don't know why thats happened! His name is Medo as he told us! I'm really disappointed

1 star off for saying that they can seat large groups. The food is REALLY good, and the drinks are even more phenomenal. I'd stick to a date night or very small groups for drinks and dessert but, they really don't have seating for more than 3 or 4 max. I brought a group of 12 with a reservation (that they confirmed twice) and they only set the tables for 8 and that was even a big stretch.

I've never eaten at Co Co. Sala, but I've been there for happy hour. They have really interesting, unique cocktails. My favorite is definitely the cilantro, which is Patron, lime juice, and fresh cilantro rimmed with a cilantro salt. It is unlike anything I've ever tasted before. The bar area has a really cool vibe and the bartender was attentive and helped each of us choose our cocktails.

Came to Co Co Sala for a networking event with my co-residents and attendings! They reserved the end of the bar for about 30 of us to gather and mingle. Although I didn't get a chance to see much of the dining room, I found the ambiance to be chic and sexy - perfect for date night. While everyone else came thirsty, I, of course, am always hungry. The Onyx, one of the most decadent desserts I've ever had in my life. The airy mousse, the center filled caramel sauce , the crunchy chocolate base - For $6 during happy hours, do yourself a favor, get at least two for yourself. Since we were busy mingling and there was limited space, I didn't get a chance to order more. As if the Onyx is not enough to convince me to return - with so many interesting items on their menu, I would definitely return with my husband to try their other sweets and specialty drinks.
