Pink Mildew.  What to Do?  Need Help!
This is a newly remodeled shower that we clean bi-weekly.  Recently, a pink mildew started appearing.  We don't like using bleach or other toxic cleaners.  According to Clorox, bleach only kills mildew on soft, nonporous surfaces.  What would you recommend to clean it (besides the toxic cleaners that we would have to wear an air filter for) and to prevent it from growing?

Just Say, "No" to Splatter
Your best defense against a dirty stovetop is…a really great defense. Splatter mats and screens prevent cooking grease and old food from getting a foothold in the first place.  Even lovingly kept stovetops and ovens are prone to burnt and caked-on grime, and a splatter preventer is a cheap and easy solution.  Give  your stovetop a wipe down daily, and always after cooking.

What to say to clients who compare you to their previous cleaners?
A good marketing is an ability to present the value of your services with positive results
I am sure that most of the service companies had to deal with the customers who tried to convince them to lower a price using a "my previous cleaner was charging me $X" line.  How do you respond to that?

+OvenMagic , charm is a big part of making a customer see a value in your services.  Sometimes the same job might be considered as a "superior" or a "substandard" based on how a customer "feels" that day.

How do you keep your glass shower door clean?  It can be a challenge to clean hard water stains and soap scum off the glass if it has been neglected.  Any tricks, in addition to the once we've mentioned in the article?  Please share.

How To Clean Glass Shower Door and Keep It Like New

Not everyone in the household uses a squeegee to clean the glass shower enclosure, so, here are a few tips on how to remove soap scum:

- Use a Magic Eraser to clean glass shower doors. Follow by a rinse and squeegeeing or wiping with a microfiber towel.

 - Use Bar Keepers Friend {Powder version}. Wet down the shower doors and a sponge, sprinkle Bar Keepers Friend on your sponge and then scrub scrub scrub. Once the soap scum is gone rinse the shower doors with warm water and squeegee them dry.

- The 50/50 vinegar and blue Dawn dish soap combination really works great.

- Squirt a toilet bowl cleaner on wet shower doors and spread it around with a sponge. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes, then wet the sponge and scrub the doors. Once the soap scum is gone rinse the shower doors with warm water and squeegee them dry.

-Scrape scum with a plastic putty knife. Once the soap scum is gone rinse the shower doors with warm water and squeegee them dry.

Email Subscribers List
There are a lot of posts about building an email list of potential customers.  Hopefully, when people visit your web page, they would give you an email address in exchange for a free eBook.  Then, you can email people once in a while with promotions or newsletters.  Have you had any success with this method of marketing?

We just created a landing page for this, with a link from the main page at www.clean4real.com (feel free to check it out). I hope it would help us getting some new customers.

+Paul Dixon , it's a great way to get some people interested.  I suppose, you have "conditions" for a minimum participants and/or "only new customers"...  We should look into that.  Thanks for sharing.

What Shoes Do You Wear When Cleaning a House?
This relates more to the cleaning services, rather than your personal home cleaning.
Some people like Merrells, some Nike.  Do you have a particular brand that you favor?

Our general rule has always been... no shoes in any house.  Well, take our "street" shoes off at the door, then put on a pair of shoes that are only used for working inside of customer's houses.  Then, when we are finished, we take our work shoes off before going outside.

I had a few cleaning companies in the past that made me think that its better to clean your home by yourself. But then I gave it a try one more time. And here it is..Clean4Real are simply the best company in Jacksonville Fl I have ever tried. They did much more then I could think of. Will recommend them to all my friends!!! Thank you for doing such a great job!!!

Having recently purchased a home, there was more cleaning that needed to be done than we had time to do ourselves. We made an appointment with Clean4Real and are so happy with the results! Our stove and bathrooms look like new again! They were very efficient and friendly. Thank you so much!

a vendor found clean4real to clean up a mess they made. I'm glad they did. Ben and his wife were great. fast and thorough. they cleaned beyond what was requested of them and even considered the fact we have a little one around the house. I would use them again.

Thank you, Clean4Real, for doing such a great job cleaning my house last week. I never thought my shower tile would look so clean and shiny again. I really like how two ladies cleaned all the baseboards, ceiling fans, and even on top of the fridge. Very detailed, professional job. My patio glass door looks so clean, I almost forgot it was there. I also liked how during the estimation walk-through, I got all my answers and concerns addressed. I was worried about my new dog's reaction to the new people in the house. The ladies came prepared and made sure my dog was comfortable around them.

Friendly staff, clean, well-marked products... But what impressed me recently, is that they regularly service their shopping cards. No squeaky wheels, pulling to a side... great contrast to some other big stores.
