Probably my favorite set of 2016. It's great for hermits like me!

LEGO Set #31048 Wow! This set is a truly incredible one. I'm particularly fond of it because it's everything I want for myself. The lone minifigure even looks like me! Who wouldn't want a nice relaxing life living alone in a small cabin somewhere? And you don't have to be all alone. There's a moose! This is one of those 3 in 1 sets, which gives you three separate design options. I chose to ...

Starter sets are great, aren't they?
LEGO Set #60077 I love starter sets. They're a great way to get theme-specific minifigures. This one has a good amount of diversity in the minifigures. The two space crewmen are interchangeable as astronauts and can easily fit into any space role. The mechanic could easily work at any site in need of a handyman, and the scientist could fit into any business environment. Four minifigures for such a low price is a great ...

My super awesome LEGO Master Builder experience.  I got a LEGO portrait and some special LEGO sets made just for us!

http://www.clayburn.wtf/lego/apple-hunt
The Flatiron LEGO Store had a special anniversary event, and I was lucky enough to be one of the winners of the LEGO Apple Hunt. On top of that, I was one of four grand prize winners! I won an exclusive LEGO experience with Master Builders and received some special promotional sets, made by LEGO just for us! The whole experience was a lot of fun. The Apple Hunt itself was essentially a raffle. We ...

The 2015 "Brick Friday" limited edition promotional set:  Gingerbread House.

http://www.clayburn.wtf/lego/gingerbread-house
LEGO Set #40139 This is a promotional set available during the holiday season at LEGO Stores. It's a limited 2015 edition and will likely run out soon. To get one, you have to spend over $99 at a LEGO Store or by ordering online from LEGO. The promotion kicks off November 27th for Black Friday, or rather Brick Friday. LEGO Set #21115 Minecraft and LEGO are truly the perfect pairing. When I first started playing Minecraft, it was like my childhood dreams made reality, or at least virtual reality. Minecraft feels like living in a kind of LEGO world. Everything is blocky and the possibilities are only limited by your imagination. So it makes complete sense that LEGO would release a string of Minecraft-themed sets. This is my second in the series and ...

Getting ready for Christmas!

http://www.clayburn.wtf/lego/santas-workshop
LEGo Set #10245 This set has a few disappointments, but some great things too. It was much easier to build than the Winter Toy Shop, but without quite as much fun. Still, if you're planning on putting together a LEGO Christmas display, then this set probably has what you'll need. First of all, let's talk about Santa. How awesome is he? For some reason I love the Santa minifigure even though I realize it's ...
