The 2015 "Brick Friday" limited edition promotional set:  Gingerbread House.

http://www.clayburn.wtf/lego/gingerbread-house
LEGO Set #40139 This is a promotional set available during the holiday season at LEGO Stores. It's a limited 2015 edition and will likely run out soon. To get one, you have to spend over $99 at a LEGO Store or by ordering online from LEGO. The promotion kicks off November 27th for Black Friday, or rather Brick Friday. Who's ready for Thanksgiving?

http://www.clayburn.wtf/lego/thanksgiving-feast
LEGO Set #40123 A great holiday set. Short and simple and selling out fast. It's already sold out in many LEGO Stores and is selling for double the original price on Amazon. [caption id=attachment_2232 align=aligncenter width=600] Marriage.[/caption] The set is a small kitchen of an elderly couple where they can sit down to enjoy their Thanksgiving meal. One wonders why they have no family visiting, but you can't help feeling happy they have ...

I won this exclusive promotional set during the anniversary of the Flatiron NYC LEGO Store.  Who's jealous?

http://www.clayburn.wtf/lego/lego-brand-retail-store
LEGO Set #40145 This LEGO set is a promotional item unavailable for purchase. I won it as part of an anniversary event for the Flatiron LEGO Store in NYC. [caption id=attachment_2132 align=aligncenter width=600] Welcome to the LEGO Store![/caption] It's a very cool set made even cooler by its exclusive nature. For hardcore collectors, this set would surely be high on the wishlist. It only comes with one minifigure which is a fairly basic one. ...

Finally finished.  Only took 9 hours.

http://www.clayburn.wtf/lego/star-wars-sandcrawler
LEGO Set #75059 Wow. Prepare to do nothing else for the rest of your life. This huge set is a whopping 3,296 pieces and took me about 9 hours to complete. I don't think anyone could do it all in one sitting. That would be quite the challenge! And what is the end result? A pretty impressive and heavy Sandcrawler. [caption id=attachment_2376 align=aligncenter width=600]9 hours of my life[/caption] A lot of the pieces seem ...

My review of #LEGODimensions
The idea of a Toys-to-Life video game seems like the perfect fit for LEGO. They have been letting us play as toys for years now with their many LEGO games, and most LEGO fans are addicted to collecting. So LEGO Dimensions has been highly anticipated by LEGO enthusiasts and it's finally arrived. How does it stack up against our expectations? Here are my thoughts. [caption id=attachment_1982 align=aligncenter width=600] Still many more to buy![/cap...

Any #Heroes  fans here?
What is it that drives the never-ending reinvention of our very selves into new persons, complete with new ideas, new thoughts, new purpose? Is this the work of Destiny? Or is it something else? Can our rebirth be a choice from within, the change we want to see in ourselves? Or is it the inevitable change we need, driven by Destiny itself, pushed out of Destiny's womb by evolution? It was this very thought, ...

Getting ready for Christmas!

http://www.clayburn.wtf/lego/santas-workshop
LEGo Set #10245 This set has a few disappointments, but some great things too. It was much easier to build than the Winter Toy Shop, but without quite as much fun. Still, if you're planning on putting together a LEGO Christmas display, then this set probably has what you'll need. First of all, let's talk about Santa. How awesome is he? For some reason I love the Santa minifigure even though I realize it's ...

Any Scooby Doo fans here?
LEGO Set #75904 This is a great set with some wonderful minifigures and nice set pieces. The mansion itself has three sections. The front door and clock tower houses Dracula and a pretty gruesome spikey ball hidden and waiting to gruesomely murder any intruders. There is a conservatory with a carnivorous plant. And a dirty kitchen with a rat and tasty-looking hamburger. The villains are the aforementioned Dracula along with a Ghost and ...

Mr. Bennet's recap of last night's premiere.   #HeroesReborn

http://www.burnttoastdiner.com/2015/09/an-old-beginning.html
You know, life had been great. I couldn't complain. Sure my invincible daughter had died and my dream job exploded. But I made a new life for myself. I was salesperson of the month! Of course, selling a car is nothing like the sweet feeling of closing a deal on a pallet of ivory cream laser bond paper. But at least it was sales. Man, how I love sales! Still, I couldn't shake the sense ...
