This is going to be fun #MakeJamesDo

Make me do anything you want!

On Saturday, November 15th, I submit to your commands.
At 1 pm EST, hop on your web cam and join my Google+ and Paper magazine #MakeJamesDo Hangout where I'll be at your service. Whatever you tell me to do, I'll do it. (That is, if it's not X-rated. So get your mind out of the gutter!)

Just keep in mind this is not a Q&A session: #MakeJamesDo is all about making the actor act. Want me to dump a bottle of water over my head? Done. To do sit ups? Sure. To play with a kitten? Purrrr.  Get creative with your commands.

Stay tuned for a list of props to inspire you!

RSVP to this event and fill out this form (http://goo.gl/4t90Fh) to have the chance to join the Hangout, share the screen with me, and make a command.

See you on the 15th! We're gonna Break the Internet!
This Hangout On Air is hosted by James Franco. The live video broadcast will begin soon.

This inconspicuous spot is as authentic as it gets - a man stands in the window all day long hand-rolling soba noodles so there's no doubt everything is homemade! The soba noodle soups are simple but very comforting and filling, seeped in a smoky broth, and they have cold versions too. I highly recommend the black sesame pudding for dessert. They have a great selection of sake and the prices are totally reasonable.

Hands down the best lamb burger I've ever had in my life. I'm not a fan of the rest of the menu since it has too much of a gastropub feel to me (pig's feet, fried head cheese, etc.) but the juicy burger, paired with a pickleback to top it off, is worth coming back for everytime. It's prepared on a fresh sourdough roll, topped with melted feta cheese and served with cumin mayonnaise to dip your French fries in. If you have room for dessert, the sticky toffee pudding is phenomenal. Fun to go with a group of friends and visit the Ace hotel lobby bar after for post-dinner drinks.

I've been waiting for a good French bakery to open up in the W. Village for a long time and now my wish has come true! This place has fantastic fresh pastries - the double-baked almond croissants in particular - and also loaves and baguettes. A great place to stop for a quick bite in the village.

This under-the-radar gem is one of the few great Thai restaurants that measures up to the food I had while I was in Thailand. Mango sticky rice is hard to come by in Manhattan and Jaiya seems to be one of the few places to have this dessert - I highly recommend ordering it! I also love their coconut tom kha soup even though everything on their menu is delicious - I've never had a bad experience here. Warning - be sure to let your server know if you prefer your food spicy or not since their version of "mild" is VERY spicy.

This E. Village gem can be easily missed but if you like vegan food - and are interested in tasting some really unique and crazy-sounding dishes like buttermilk battered cauliflower and grilled eggplant topped with mascarpone and rosemary cotton candy for dessert - this is the place to go. It's a very tiny spot with only a few tables available, but the food makes up for the lack of ambiance. Vegetables never tasted so good.

If you like chicken and you like foie gras, order the roasted chicken for 2 lined with melted foie gras and brioche bread crumbs, topped with scented black truffles. It is an indulgent meal for sure but absolutely unforgettable and has been written about by many food critics. All of the food at NoMad is as much in the presentation as the taste. I never thought radishes as an appetizer could look so appealing but they were beautifully presented, perfectly lined up on a slab of wood. Highly recommend this restaurant!

I love the intimate vibe of this restaurant, even if you're likely to be in a room jam-packed with celebrities if you go. The decor is elegant but still comfortable and classic. Their menu consists of mostly upscale southern comfort food, and I always look forward to the buttery biscuits they give you before the meal. Their pasta with shaved black truffles on top is one of most luxurious meals I've ever had. Service has always been great and the staff very friendly. A great place to go for special occasions...or if you want to indulge!
