Clara Harris is a proud member of Actors Equity Association, the professional actors' union, and a regular member of the acting company at Stage One: The Louisville Children's Theatre in Louisville, Kentucky. Originally from Chattanooga, Tennessee, Clara has been on stage nearly her entire life, seeing many of the lower 48 during her early-career tours. In more recent years, Clara has rekindled her love of writing and has met with great success as an essayist and playwright. Her solo show, Good Little Church Girls, has met with great acclaim and her essays frequently can be seen in Underwired Magazine.
A yoga enthusiast and avid cook, Clara loves learning new, healthy and ethnic recipes and cooking techniques. She has always enjoyed baking bread, and her signature bread recipe was part of the menu that she prepared for a national cooking competition hosted by the Culinary Institute of America, for which she won second place at the tender age of 13.
