Dinner with an old friend always leads to reminiscing. A shock that so much time has passed since we stood in our ill-fitting graduation gowns with such palpable relief that the exams were over, …

Slowly slowly, writing about what hurts.
When I fall for someone, I fall so deeply. The intense connection pulls me towards that person and I can see our future together. It sounds corny, like something from a romantic comedy. It’s …

Google is auto-awesoming my pictures! Here's the Royal Crescent in Bath, end of the day. The cars are usually a bit of an eyesore, but I was lucky that these three were white!

Introduction
Back in London after three and a half years in one of the many Venices of the East (see Wikipedia): Bangkok. It's been a fabulous experience and ignited many of my passions, namely food, people, politics, exploring and above all, writing.

Please feel free to get in touch, ask questions and have a bit of a debate.

I was lucky enough to get in free to this quirky museum just behind Khao San. If, like me, you are used to National Galleries in the US and Europe the main collection will probably be a disappointment, the most interesting things to check out are the paintings done by the current King of Thailand, he's a dab hand with a paintbrush. However, head outside and you'll find a glasshouse that hosts temporary exhibitions. On my few trips here I have seen some great photography and sculptures. I wouldn't go out of my way to visit, but if you are in the area and need a culture hit it's a nice way to spend an hour.
