The Mayor and Council wasted no time in getting started meeting for the first time since Thanksgiving, one of the first items on the list, Mayor Rinella along with the City Council presented the 2018 Project Honorable Mention Governor's Hometown Award to the Marion's Girl Scout Troop 8893. The Marion Fire Department won approval for a new construction project, and more......

View the City of Marion Council Video which was held on September 24th 2018. This meeting featured everything from the hiring of new dispatchers to the retirement of long time firefighter Jay Smart. Always a great and exciting time. See you next meeting.

at today's meeting Officer Kraemer and his dog Zara were winners at the Canine Olympics. We also were very pleased to have a demonstration from the Marion Jr. High Robotics Team, its very amazing what theses young people are able to do with just Legos. This was another amazing and informative meeting be sure to subscribe to our channel
