You have to start somewhere, and end somewhere, and hit post.
Official Post from Chuck Baggett: I have only seen an Apple MacIntosh or Mac desktop twice that I can remember, one with a b&w screen in a store in <s>#</s>SanFrancisco in the 80s similar to the one in the picture here, and one in one workplace. This is likely a result of a limited social life, just a few friends in total, none wh

I rather enjoyed that trip down the rabbit hole. "Where shall I begin, please your Majesty?” He asked.
“Begin at the beginning,” the King said gravely, “and go on till you come to the end: then stop.”

Camel Crickets: Do you hate them? Do they hate you? Do you call them sprickets? Maybe they call humans sprumans. We deserve that.

I have never seen them, or if I did, they didn't bother me.

I do recall grasshoppers jumping on me in grass taller than me as a kid. I don't recall that bothering me.
HELEN: I like bugs. I started a Ph.D. in ants (and quit, but still think ants are awesome). I have blogged in this space about butterflies. I think the coming of the 17-year-cicadas is one of the most exciting things that happens in the world. My record is quite clear on this: me and bugs, ...

How many hours a week do the ones earning 8 to 11 thousand a year spend working on their self published income, writing plus whatever else is involved?

+Chuck Baggett I'm afraid there's no data on that! My guess is that writers at that level do it part time, they have another paying job somewhere...

My role in this was just to use Storify to put some tweets I found interesting by ‏@kristendiangelo in chronological order.

I'd like to read this book. Posting this reminds me; I should investigate the library's new ebook rental system.

I just found this, while hunting for an instrumental version of the Major-General's Song from The Pirates of Penzance, which is the tune the Elements song uses.

Maybe Storify, Facebook, and Google+ will strengthen my Gofundme game. Thanks for reading and sharing.
People ask for or donate to odd, frivolous, or even evil causes. It's like money blowing in the wind. I would like some of it to blow my way, please.

I have a GoFundMe. These are my daughters and granddaughters. I'm not in the best shape mentally or work-record-wise, being in a category that has an an acronym, LTU, Long Term Unemployed. Actually , LTU starts at 27 months, so I'm maybe Hyper Ultra Double Plus Extra Strengh LTU.

I think I need to find a way to earn an income at home. I worked for twenty years designing signs on on a computer, among other sign design related tasks. I used a program called Flexisign. http://www.thinksai.com/flexi-vinyl-cutting-software, which is sort of similar to Adobe Illustrator. I used CorelDraw graphics suite some, and I used a old version of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, using them only as needed to make the files work in the Flexisign program.

I owe thirty thousand dollars or so one daughter's college.

So far my Gofundme has netted $110 dollars. My monthly expenses are a bit over the poverty limit for one person, which is $1,200 a month.

My resources, left from my twenty years at the sign shop, will end in just a few months, and if I don't have an income by that that I will be evicted and homeless.

I'm chronically unhappy, depressed, have no friends, minimal, nearly zero social life, not feeling any hope. The more I focus on me and my situation the more overwhelmed and likely to fail I feel.

So, any donations would be wonderful, sharing this would be great. Pleasant contact from pleasant people might do me some good.
I have $30,000 in loans for my kid's college, I'm unemployed, and I'm headed for homelessness in a few months. Your help is greatly appreciated.

Just wishing there were alternate ways to post on G+ other than the standard one on plus.google.com.

I am not used by sliding animated text boxes and even slightly dimmed backgrounds. At least it's still legible.

Years ago I took the car in for something. On turning the car on, the Service Engine Soon light came on. It had never come on from when I bought it years before till they worked on it. They gave a massive list of supposedly essential repairs. It came on while still in the parking lot leaving. It's been on off and on since, over ten years. Coincidence? I don't think so. Today I took my car in with a complaint of "Brake Warning Light" on. Paid $400 for rear rotors and pads. Drive away, brake warning light is still on. At this point they report that the warning light is on due to the ABS sensor needing replacement which would cost $1,600 to $1,900. Now I have a car with a warning light on all the time, meaning I get no safety info re low brake fluid, condition of pads. I was not given the information need to make a good decision prior to committing to the repair. I don't feel I have a safe car to drive. I am very unhappy with this result. The counter worker told me the ABS (Anti-Lock) light wasn't on when it was on and the mechanic said it was on and it was on at the time he said it wasn't.

I have been a customer of Dr. Duke for decades and have now been treat by new dentist Dr. Alecia Moore. I've been pleased with service there. The people seem competent, they have their system's act together, and everyone is courteous and polite. The diagnoses seem honest. I'm pretty picky and there are not many place I would give such a good review to.
