Within the framework of the nationwide Responsible Care competition 2018, CHT Germany GmbH was awarded the first place in the competition of Baden-Württemberg for its sustainability project "Reduction of the use of critical raw materials". The award ceremony took place on the 17th of August 2018 in the premises of the VCI Baden-Württemberg.

CHT Group strengthens its commitment to sustainability | More than 750 chemical products published in the ZDHC Gateway

In the past months the CHT Group applied major efforts into the administration of its ZDHC GatewayTM profile. This data exchange platform supports sustainable manufacturing by enabling chemical formulators to securely share information with value-chain affiliates. Chemical companies, brands and suppliers of textiles, footwear or leather eminently benefit from the available data in-line with the ZDHC standards.

Any product uploaded in the ZDHC Gateway has to include a statement according to the compliance with the ZDHC MRSL requirements. The levels 0 to 3 give information on the validity of the conformance with the ZDHC MRSL, which has level 3 as the highest level.

CHT Group claims a leading position regarding the amount of registered chemical products at the ZDHC Gateway for textile applications, as being amongst the top 3 chemical companies which have submitted the highest number of products to the ZDHC Gateway. CHT Textile Care 2017 - successful and innovative

The CHT Group’s business field of Textile Care succeeded in completing the business year 2017 with an increase in sales.

Even in a market environment which is increasingly difficult and with high demands on all players, the team of Mr. P.C. Stevens, Head of the business field, has again been successful in mastering the challenges of the market.

“Only by considering in daily cooperation with our customers how we can optimise the processes and washing procedures and make them safer and more sustainable, we can manage to hold and expand our position on the international textile market,” says P.C. Stevens, Head of the business field of Textile Care. “Furthermore we are proud to say that in 2017 we succeeded in developing the washing procedure UV SMART Power saving resources and making the process safer for the operating staff of laundries by working without chlorine or peracetic acids, and that we were able to significantly increase the durability of the treated textiles,“ adds Stevens....
