The hardware for this book making set me back less than a buck since I had the wood for the jig already.

$2 for the PDF this is a must-have for anybody playing a 1st Edition or OSR game.

(The actual cover is white text on black, I inverted it for reasons)

So far I've loved everything Big Dragon Games has put out there. Their d30 books are fantastic.

An enjoyable read and on my to-play list. Simple & straight-forward, this isn't an OSR clone.

I thought I'd share a review of the so-called KS only book from d20 entertainment.

Not quite another retro-clone

Pretty good GM aid that takes information we've probably all seen before and adds in a good analysis & explanation from a critical GM perspective.

My wife and I eat here often and I've loved most of the food. I am generally not a fan of their beer, but this is because I generally don't like ales and actually HATE IPAs. Needless to say I was quite happy when they decided to carry a bottled lager. I can only think of one time I didn't like my meal, but I was adventuring far outside my own comfort zone. Sometimes you roll the dice and take your chances. I'm pretty sure I'd not like this one dish, no longer on the menu, no matter where I had gotten it. The menu itself changes periodically and the brewpub sources most of their items locally. It is great to get a burger with a fresh bun made at a local bakery and not shipped in from a distributor out of state. There are some quirky items on the menu and some hidden gems as well. Personally I think they make the best Reuben I've ever had. While the food is good and I'm told the beer is as well, for me it really comes down to their staff. The folks working at the Barrelhouse have always treated us well and if you want to have a special event there they have two rooms you can reserve at a perfectly reasonable price. Adding good food, beer, and great service and this is a place you should really check out.

Pretty much just "meh". Their tofu may be organic, but could stand to be cooked instead of just heated. Teryaki a bit bland and best item on menu are the fries. Was wanting semi-authentic Hawaiian food. Should have listened to my gut and went elsewhere.

They raised the price of their Original gyro to $3.49, but I swear they also increased the size of the gyro!
