The title of this video is misleading. I'm sure you chose to leave off "sales" and go with the more generic successful people. It will lead to higher clicks on your video but the number of people to actually watch the video will probably be a lot lower. It's deceptive and I would've thought better of a company like LinkedIn.

Best episode so far. Both +Scott Kelby and +Karen Hutton have made an impact on me through Google Plus and their contributions to both this community and photography in general. I also have to thank +Scott Kelby for giving me the chance to attend the +Google+ Photographer's Conference where I was able to meet +Karen Hutton face to face.

Introduction

I'm a photographer. I'm not solving the world's problems or doing brain surgery but I am doing something important; I'm recording history.

In this digital age when everyone has a camera we forget about how important it is properly capture those special moments. A child's birth, a first birthday, the first day of school, a first kiss, high school graduation, college graduation, marriage, and then the cycle starts anew again as you start your own family. All these moments mark milestones in the progression of your family. They deserve more than an iPhone shot. I help you record those memories.

I'm a huge fan of Fleurty Girl shirts and know the owner, Lauren Thom, but this store lacks the feel or vibe that the original Oak street store or French Quarter stores have. If you live or work in Metairie and want a cool NOLA themed shirt this is the place to go but just know you aren't getting the full experience unless you visit the FQ store.

If you are looking for fried or boiled seafood this is the place to go. Fried oysters, fried shrimp, fried catfish, fried redfish, fried soft-shelled crabs, boiled shrimp, and my favorite boiled crawfish. All the staples of a Louisiana seafood feast are here.

Hansen's Snoballs are unlike any other snoball I've ever had. The ice mixed with syrup is almost like yogurt. There is just something about the way the ice is ground that no one else can seem to duplicate. I've been going here since I was 6 or 7 years old, so almost 35 years. The only change I've noticed recently is a little less syrup in the snoballs, unless Ashley is working. She learned under her grandparents and is definitely keeping up the family tradition of quality first.

I really don't understand what all the hoopla is about this place. It's OK but it isn't great. I guess being a NOLA native I'm not too fond of chain places and putting them in a mall even lowers the expectation. The food is good, the decor is excellent, and the service is very good. I'm just not fond of the menu.

One of the worst dining experience's I've ever had in New Orleans and I had to pay $100 for the "privilege". The decor is awesome and the waitstaff are excellent. The problem is the food sucks and it's way too expensive. My wife and I went to Tujaque's with high expectations. As one of the oldest restaurant's in town we expected it to be top notch. The only thing that was off the chart was the price. The menu choice was virtually non-existent, there was one menu with only one or two variations and I didn't like most of them. There were also no prices on the menu. I thought how bad can it be. Well after spending almost $100 and leaving hungry I'm telling you it was bad. If you want a great dining experience in New Orleans stay away from Tujague's.

I've been here at least half a dozen times. The bar is excellent and well-stocked. The food is top notch and the service is excellent. They have this macaroni and cheese dish that really takes mac and cheese to a new level, it's really incredible. This place is also a hub for the local tech community. If you want to network with some of the best and brightest in the city stop by happy hour at Capdeville.

I grew up around the corner from The Bakery (the original Koz's) in Gentilly. I was so happy to hear that they reopened, and closer to me in Metairie. The Red Beans on Monday is incredible. It's so creamy and full of flavor. I've given up trying to duplicate it at home. The fried shrimp and oysters are pretty awesome too. I will warn you in advance, if you go here for lunch be prepared for a line. Koz customers are almost addicted to the place and need to visit at least once a week for lunch.
