I'm not really into shooting models but when you are starting out you want to test.
You may have heard that some photographers will only ever do paid work, while others like to work for free from time to time. This might shock you if you are thinking about photography as a business where profit is the main goal. It might even shock you if you have enjoyed it as a …

I was doing a lot of shooting through my sunroof while driving home. I usually did these in burst mode and then if I had a good photo I'd edit it when I got home. Google made an animation from some of my shots and I kinda like it.

I took a few hours today to walk around the French Quarter in downtown New Orleans. I haven't had time to go through all of the images yet but I liked this one from Jackson Square.

My son went to the doctor a few days ago and while there we were told he needed glasses. I went with him today to pick them up and decided to bring the camera along.

I'm a photographer. I prefer shooting landscapes, wildlife, and nature images. Pretty much anything that doesn't have people in it. It's not that I don't like people, I just don't like most of them and prefer to be alone.

Excellent car wash for the value. I discount one star because some of the vacuums need service and on the weekends many people spend far too much time detailing their cars in the vacuum area and not allowing others who have exited the wash to get access to the vacuums. A time limit during heavy use times could rectify this.

I'm a huge fan of Fleurty Girl shirts and know the owner, Lauren Thom, but this store lacks the feel or vibe that the original Oak street store or French Quarter stores have. If you live or work in Metairie and want a cool NOLA themed shirt this is the place to go but just know you aren't getting the full experience unless you visit the FQ store.

One of the worst dining experience's I've ever had in New Orleans and I had to pay $100 for the "privilege". The decor is awesome and the waitstaff are excellent. The problem is the food sucks and it's way too expensive. My wife and I went to Tujaque's with high expectations. As one of the oldest restaurant's in town we expected it to be top notch. The only thing that was off the chart was the price. The menu choice was virtually non-existent, there was one menu with only one or two variations and I didn't like most of them. There were also no prices on the menu. I thought how bad can it be. Well after spending almost $100 and leaving hungry I'm telling you it was bad. If you want a great dining experience in New Orleans stay away from Tujague's.

If you are looking for fried or boiled seafood this is the place to go. Fried oysters, fried shrimp, fried catfish, fried redfish, fried soft-shelled crabs, boiled shrimp, and my favorite boiled crawfish. All the staples of a Louisiana seafood feast are here.

Hansen's Snoballs are unlike any other snoball I've ever had. The ice mixed with syrup is almost like yogurt. There is just something about the way the ice is ground that no one else can seem to duplicate. I've been going here since I was 6 or 7 years old, so almost 35 years. The only change I've noticed recently is a little less syrup in the snoballs, unless Ashley is working. She learned under her grandparents and is definitely keeping up the family tradition of quality first.
