Hinton’s idea of capitalism is so sophomoric it defies even the logic of your average liberal. Hinton sees money accumulated anywhere, and calls it capital, and thus capitalism. If a communist government has a bunch of money in the bank, capitalism. If a socialist government spends a bunch of money to build a factory, capitalism. She’s not even an “anti-capitalist” in the sense that she opposes the market, she is “anti-capital” as in she opposes the very concept of wealth however obtained.
