5 years is a long time to be working on a thing. I am so relieved that today has come and that Drupal 8 is actually out. Really , here's the evidence:
I know that next few months will be filled with learning how to do some of the things I already knew how to do in Drupal 7. And that road might have frustration well supplied. But I am ready.
I want to focus my contributions to the Drupal open source project buy putting my attention on listening to how users use Drupal. What are the things that are frustrating, what things make you feel comfortable with the tool? What is hard what is easy? What are the words you use?
I'll leave it to others to make recommendations on how to "fix" things. I just want to listen.
