I've been following the saga of the horse slaughterhouses in New Mexico and it really irks me that the reason they can't open is because they can't get properly inspected but only because politicians specifically cut the inspectors budgets so they can't inspect the factory.

Horse is damn tasty, better than beef and far leaner. Sorry but if you eat beef you can't really build an argument against eating horse.

This underground tunnel city sure beats the heck out of the shopping mall rubbish we have for a tunnel city now.

These are great.  Every city needs more of this kind of thing.

All coffee seems to come from third world countries with high levels of corruption.  Is coffee grown anywhere in the lower 48?

Indigestion can be expected as can an MSG headache and more than likely a few extra trips to the bathroom. The staff while kind enough lack training and often appear flustered. Management seems focused on money instead of a pleasant dining experience. The quality of food has declined as have portion sizes while prices have gone up. They spruced up the place last year, but didn't bother with the kitchen which literally drips grease from the ceiling. If you are in the area, which is famous for it's density of restaurants, you are within walking distance of dozens of better restaurants at better prices. Take a short walk in any direction and you'll find something better. Honestly for the price and quality you might as well just visit McDonald's which is less than a block away. There's no reason to waste good money or put your health at risk by eating here.

Decent service. Big glasses of ice water delivered to the table. Tasty food and a relatively reasonable price. I'll be going back regularly.

Some of the better chain store coffee around, but a bit expensive for what it is. Couches in back are nice but seating overall is pretty limited.

Their smoked meat was a lot like eating a hot dog, and their french fries were store bought frozen fair.
