I got 100% on that little test. Curious how much you all will do :).
Even though the HBO television series Game of Thrones has brought conlangs – constructed languages – into the media spotlight over the past couple of years

I thought I'd share a personal anecdote about Terry Pratchett.

While I was doing my PhD, my wife and I lived in a grotty flat in Leicester. Once, we put up some bookshelves. My wife didn't want the landlord to get them, so a couple of days later, at breakfast, she said, "Are you going to take your bookshelves with you when you leave the flat?"

I was going to a book signing that morning. There was a bit of a fan tradition of bringing strange things along to be signed. As I explained to Terry later, since he'd signed the entire contents of some people's bookshelves, he might as well sign my bookshelf.

Introduction
I'm French, living in the Netherlands with my husband. A language geek and a conlanger, I find linguistics fascinating, although in my daily life I'm an engineer. I'm a voracious reader, but you will also find me often watching Japanese anime and live-action series. I write, and you can find the results of my writing on my blog. I am also the current President of the Language Creation Society. And last but not least, I'm the proud owner of the sweetest dog in the world!
Bragging rights
I've directed 4 theatre plays and played in 3 others. I was also the local organiser of the 4th Language Creation Conference.
