Hello. I'm university student in South Korea. We are now studying about 3D scanner with your reconstructme sdk for developers.

We already tried your open source code with Kinect in visual studio. It was successful.
But When we complied with structure io sensor, it doesn't work.
We alredy installed OPENNI2, and changed the code.(reme_sensor_create(c,"openni",ture,&s))

Can you explain what's wrong with our code..?
Please reply me...
I really want to know about this problem.
Thank you.

We are proud to announce that we've added global tracking based on a CANDELOR to ReconstructMe in order to improve tracking robustness and ease of multi-camera handling.

We uploaded more than 150 printable 3D busts, collected from visitors during the Long Night of Research last Friday. All busts where generated automatically.
Over the weekend we uploaded all models to our site and rolled out our very own 3D web-based viewer. The viewer should work with most modern browsers (expect probably Internet Explorer). If you see an error message when clicking the above play button, you probably need to update your internet ...

ReconstructMe 1.2 and SDK 1.5 released.

We've been quite quiet the last couple of weeks preparing a new release that especially improves in terms of speed. We now support OpenNI 2 and different sensor resolutions.

Give it a try and let us know what you think!

Noël en Alsace - Episode II

A wonderful art work created by 1k0 and shared on Vimeo. ReconstructMe helped out in creating the body meshes. Here's a quote from the Making Of:

[...] ReconstructMe was a great help to quickly generate body meshes, we even made a platform to rotate people instead of moving around the kinect, you can see the platform on the 1st 2 models in this video
