I need help from some #Android pros: what call recording app works best on a Samsung Galaxy S4?

I need to record calls since I'm a freelance writer and I interview people on the phone, and need to pull quotes verbatim from the conversation.

I've downloaded 2 different apps called "Automatic Call Recorder" and can't get the playback to work on either. Thoughts?

I REALLY like this: a side-by-side comparison of legal jargon vs plain language when it comes to a website's Terms of Service page (thanks to +Editors/Réviseurs Canada for the tip!)
Read the Terms of Service for Codeship.

Do you have a lot of books, so many that your shelves are pretty much groaning from the weight? Well, Book Riot has you covered.
Being a mobile book hoarder can be a challenge. In the last 10 years I’ve moved 12 times, and my boyfriend and I are currently gearing up for move number 13. My family is, thankfully, always up to help, but … Continued

You look stressed. You should have some tea. And maybe read a book, like I did today.
This week I take a look at Sleeping Dragon Green from Simple Loose Leaf, and revisit a favourite fantasy novel.

It's still Sunday! This post is technically not late!
This week I try Formosa Oolong, a roasted oolong from Taiwan, and link it to a book by Guy Gavriel Kay.

Great article by The Economist about what it takes for modern authors to succeed.
THE mystery is worth a book in itself. How could a hitherto unknown novel by Harper Lee, writer of “To Kill a Mockingbird”, remain hidden for 60 years, and why...

Looking for a great resource on how to write plain language?

Well, look no more. +Iva Cheung has recreated "Plain Language: Clear and Simple", a long-lost classic from the Canadian government, and you can download a PDF copy for free on the page below!

(Many thanks to +Adrienne Montgomerie for pointing this page out).

So hey, did anyone else get really incensed by the use of a particularly gendered insult in "Guardians of the Galaxy"? Because I sure did.

This is an excellent resource if you wanted to learn more about getting contract work with the government, but didn't know where to start.

It's been a while, but I have a new book review up! If you've got this year's Hugo Voters Packet, I strongly suggest taking a look at Samatar's work.
