As soon as I wore this #tshirt, I knew there would be a problem. The "overly righteous" would question my #faith.
Well... here's what I have to say about all that...

The season 6 finale of #GameOfThrones had more than a healthy helping of #girlpower  leaving us all wondering not IF a woman will rule #Westeros  but rather which one?
I gave my two-cents on the subject on +Mode... I'd love to know your thoughts and if you agree with my ultimate choice for Queen...

I don't know about you but I was blown away by the blatant display of "girl power" in the season 6 finale of Game of Thrones. How it ended left me truly believing a woman WILL rule Westeros. The question now is, which one? (WARNING: To appreciate this story, you have to have seen Game of Thrones through season 6 and there are a few spoilers)

Love them or hate them, there's no point in denying that Frank & Claire Underwood can teach us all about relationships. They set the tone, the boundaries, and the rules for their marriage... convictions of society be dammed. And it works... until they broke their own rules. Moral of the story... stick to the plan YOU create! Here are other lessons I learned by their example... (yep... it's another +Mode story)

#HouseOfCards   #Netflix   #ModeStories   #Relationships   #Marriage
If you are a fan of the hit Netflix original series, House of Cards, then you are fully aware of the interesting relationship between the two main characters Frank and Claire Underwood. Love them or hate them, but there is no denying that their union, albeit twisted, works. Despite their unconventional nature, The Underwoods can teach us much about keeping a couple together.

I went from fearing my death by #Walker bite to volunteering as #Tribute all in a matter of minutes on this adventure... Just another fun day hunting for #Coffee in #Atlanta

One of the cool things about living in Atlanta is knowing that many major motion pictures and television shows are filmed here. There's always a chance that you'll stumble upon places where your favorites are shot. One day I went hunting for a new coffee spot and (hopefully) a new WriteSpace and ...

If you're waiting for "the perfect time," you're setting yourself up for failure (to launch). Trust me... I know from personal experience...
What are we waiting for? #DoEpicShit

Are you obsessed with “perfect timing?” While you probably wouldn't classify it that way, it's a good chance you are. Especially if you're a blogger, writer, and/or entrepreneur. (ahem… me) It's kind of an “accidentally-on-purpose” thing… You've got this idea… a post… a crowdfunding campaign… a ...

Going on a solo #roadtrip  was one of the most enlightening experiences I've ever had... Here's my +Mode story on why every woman should take one for herself!

One of the best trips I have ever taken was a road trip by myself. It was the most liberating experience of my life as I never thought that I would enjoy hours on the road alone. It amazing in unexpected ways. Here's why every woman should do it:

I don't usually share stuff like this but I was extremely moved by this story. I'm sure most of you know about Brock Turner's joke of a sentence for the rape he committed and the joke of a letter his father submitted to the court. This is an open letter to Brock's father written by a brave woman, a rape victim, that is so powerful that I believe every parent (no matter the age of your child) should read.
#BrockTurner
I’m writing this letter because your son’s victim’s words have provided me with a voice I’ve been incapable of finding for twenty years…

Need a break from "adulting?" Check out my newest piece on +Mode about Summer Camps for Adults! Time relax, relate, and release while channeling your inner cool kid! Some of these camps run well into the fall. I'm thinking I need an #adventure... what say you?

#summercamp   #travel   #CoolestThings   #DoEpicShit
Who says summer camp is just for kids? We grown-ups need exercise, enrichment, and to brush up on life-skills too! Not to mention sometimes we just need a break from "adulting" and to re-connect with our inner cool kid. Here are some awesome summer camps to help us do just that!

social media story teller putting my gift of gab to good use
Introduction

I'm an Atlanta-based coffee & cocktail loving content creator, author, wanderluster, pop culture junkie, faux foodie, photog wannabe, wonder woman-ninja-jedi mom, and I do epic shit. I talk a lot... about a lot of things but I always strive to enlighten as I entertain while I put my gift of gab to good use.

Like my many manuscripts, my life is a work in progress.  The creative, clever, candid, and always heavily caffeinated contents of my imperfectly inspired life are spewed across my blog and random ramblings on various online magazines.

My methods are unfounded if not unconventional yet somehow I manage to #DoEpicShit.  My overall mission is to put smiles on faces and if you're not smiling right now, well, you haven't had enough coffee!

Bragging rights
Living an imperfectly inspired life, Phenomenally skilled at getting hints (I just don't like having to take them), Fluent in sarcasm, Hashtag Ninja, Gold Medalist in Slaying Metaphors, Excellent at making take-out orders for dinner
