3 lessons my daughter has taught me about simple faith

By Andrew T. Holm
--------

Rae is three. She can be quite the handful at times, but it’s amazing what she learns and understands about God. Yes, sometimes it means she walks around the house wearing her blanket over her head and calling herself Jesus. But many other times she simply has child-like faith.

The pinnacle of all Christian theology

By Rob Grayson
--------

All of my thinking, reading and studying to date has led me to conclude that this is the pinnacle of Christian theology:

“Beloved, let us love one another, because love is from God; everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. Whoever does not love does not know God, for God is love.” (1 John 4:7–8)

We could boil it down even further: God is Love, so love one another. That’s it. When we ascend the theological Everest, this is what we find at the summit.

By Carey Nieuwhof
-------

A call to allow the real Jesus back into Christianity

By Jeff K. Clarke
---------

And, to allow his entire life not only to be the place we go to have our sins forgiven, but to learn, and in many cases to (re)learn, what it means to truly follow Jesus, so that his life flows and fills our own.

-----------

Our neighbourhood has become a practical model of this commandment for our children, and we have found the generosity around us is contagious. It fills me with joy when I see my children emulating the kindness they see around them.

The new worship war

By Stephen J. Bedard
-------------

There is a new conflict that I see happening when it comes to congregational worship. In fact, I would say that this is more serious than the conflict between hymns and contemporary songs as it goes beyond style and gets down to the reason we sing in church.

Why white supremacy is a sin

By Erik Parker
------------

I honestly doubt that those who espouse white supremacy and Christian faith understand why the two are incompatible. While some may choose to hate knowing that it is ‘wrong,’ I think many simply don’t understand that this hatred is, in fact, wrong and sinful.
