Although a little lengthy, this recent post by a parent is well worth reading and sharing, particularly with families who may not immediately see the need to give their children an education marked by Christ. Thank you Mr. Wells for taking the time to share how CHA has impacted your family.

"My brother William started to attend school there when he was 11 after my Mom passed away. Jill is teaching Elementary Art there now and our three children are going to school there as well. Before this school year, we didn't have a strong feeling about CHA one way or the other. We knew it was a very good school and respected it's leadership, but we felt comfortable with our children in public school. They were doing well and we made sure they were receiving the education and Christian training they needed. However, having seen the difference CHA has made in the life of our family in just a few short months, Jill and I are willing to do whatever it takes to keep our children at CHA. It's different, and it has made a difference in the lives of our kids. While I appreciate their philosophy of quality education and the way every subject, sport, and class is taught from a perspective marked by Christ, what's been most important is the quality of the people who work and teach there. The school's commitment to training their employees to be master teachers and encourage them in their walk with Christ is demanding and amazing. We couldn't be happier that God led our path to CHA. I'm not one of those people who believes that how a child receives their education determines their success in life or their walk with Christ. I've seen public education, Christian education, and home education all work splendidly and fail miserably, but if you're looking for a place where the goal is for educators to assist the family in training Christian leaders in every sphere of life, then I would strongly recommend you consider CHA."

For those who attended the Heritage Banquet Tuesday night, it was truly a blessed time remembering the goodness of God over the years in the life of CHA. In His provision. In his drawing children and families to Himself. In growing up influencers for Christ and His kingdom. And in providing students with an education that is marked by, distinctively of, about, and for the gospel of Christ and the glory of God.

Every year our chapter of the National Honor Society hosts the Oklahoma Blood Institute for a fall and spring blood drive. Thank you to all the brave Crusaders who gave of themselves for this important cause!
