Back in 2012 when I first started writing ‘Meet Fifty Shades’, I worked on my own with no one to proof read or edit for me, so inevitably it was full of bloopers and typos.  Over the years, I’ve gone over it many, many times, but despite my best efforts, it was impossible to pick up all my errors.

That’s why I’m very happy to announce that thanks to the efforts of my lovely proof reader Sue, who took on the mammoth task of proof reading all 64 chapters, there is now a newly corrected version of ‘Meet Fifty Shades’ available, both on the illustrated blog and to download in book format. Any remaining errors are down to me!

I suggest that you delete any previous versions you have of ‘Meet Fifty Shades’ from your Kindle, iPad or other e-reader, and replace it with the updated version, which is hosted on Smashwords.  Just click on the download tab at the top of the 'Meet Fifty Shades Blog' , and then follow the easy, step by step instructions. As always, there is no charge; ‘Meet Fifty Shades’ remains free for anyone to read, although a small donation to a worthwhile charity of your choice would be a nice gesture.

As far as other works are concerned, I have a couple of projects in the pipeline which should hopefully come to fruition in 2016. Sign up to my G E Griffin author website to be kept in the picture, and follow me on Twitter, Facebook, Google+ and Instagram.

I’m sure we’re all waiting with bated breath to find out who will be cast for the remaining main characters for ‘Darker’ and ‘Freed’.  If it’s anything like the casting for the first film, there won’t be any of the well known names we’ve all discussed at length! Personally, I think it’s a good thing when relatively unknown actors are cast, as I find it helps if they aren’t well known for a previous role.  I’m certainly looking forward to adding some new pictures to the blog once they are released.

Whether or not E L James decides to complete the trilogy from Christian’s point of view and writes the next two books to follow on from ‘Grey’, we shall have to wait and see. She can be in little doubt that this is what many of her fans would like, as every time she tweets, there are always numerous pleas for her to continue Christian’s story. It does seem a bit mean to leave her fans hanging, but I guess she’s pretty busy as she’s so heavily involved with the upcoming films.  And as any writer will tell you, these things can’t be forced – you can only write when the muse allows.

Best wishes to all my readers, and thanks as always for your support.
