Drop it, kick it, run it over, the screen can take it.
When it comes to choosing a smartphone that's always been on the forefront of innovation, the DROID brand has stood the test of time by addressing consumer headaches like battery life, charging, and of course, durability. Today, we're introducing two new versions of our most popular DROID ...

Chromecast Headaches

Ahh, the joys of perpetual beta.  Using +Google Play Music with +Google Chrome and my #Chromecast I've been having all sorts of issues lately.

1. Last night it would play one track properly, but upon advancing tracks it would stop and say some other device started playback. This was false, but I went ahead and de-authorized all my other devices to be sure.  Nope, same issue.

2. This morning, trying the same from a different computer I get a different behavior.  Upon advancing tracks, it continues to play on the Chromecast but ALSO plays on my local PC...out of sync of course.

I've rebooted the Chromecast.  I've reinstalled the Cast extension in Chrome.  As it stands, if I'm using a computer I can't Cast.  Definitely frustrating when you pay money for All Access but can't play music on a real stereo.  Get it together guys, before Apple Music eats you for lunch.

OS X Chrome: 43.0.2357.124 (64-bit)
Chromecast FW: 32904

Picture was from halftime, but this is how we felt at the end of the game. Thankfully UK pulled it off somehow.

Haha awesome. Although that sign simply doesn't do justice. I'd freak out if I walked out and saw that...I guess good on the TV show?

United Kingdom?!?

So as cool as the new Photos grouping and searching is, it's not quite perfect.  I figure because these are in a Collection called "UK South Regionals" that Photos thinks I must have meant the United Kingdom.

So +The Verge calls the Apple Watch "more capable" but it can't even run native apps?  All renders are done on your iPhone and transferred over, genius!
Developers are excited about the possibilities of the Apple Watch, but frustrated by limitations within the software.

With farm to table food, two big bars, and a friendly staff this is one of my favorites. Pretty decent selection on tap never hurts either. Started with fresh trout on a carrot puree, and finished with a mint chocolate chip ice cream sundae. The menu may change, but there's always the amazing cheese curds. If you get nothing else, get an order of those.

Good grilled cheese with pork belly, 50s diner atmosphere without being completely cliche. Nice rich chocolate shake, but small and pricey. Looking forward to heading back.

Fresh bass, lobster mashed potatoes, and an orange butter sauce. Really good, and a nice coffee ice cream for dessert with little specs of coffee beans. I actually enjoyed it more than embeya next door. Even the iced tea had a great unique minty flavor. Only shortcoming might have been a rather normal presentation, but that's just from watching to much Hell's Kitchen. All that really matters is how it tastes, and it was delicious.

Huge quarter pizza slices, NYC style thin or deep dish. They slide it into the oven to heat it nice and perfect, and have a little patio outside where you can eat. Considering their location, being open to 10:30 is pretty decent and it's significantly better than Beggar's Pizza for just a slice.

Oh yeah, Kobe beef burger and some tasty fries at the Paramount Room. Blue cheese and bacon...how am I going to finish this thing?!? Add to that their "No crap on tap" motto with rotating beers and late night kitchen on the weekends makes this a great little neighborhood bar. Prefer the upstairs bar area, but they have a great downstairs space as well (although a bit loud).

Great guacamole. Great Mole Enchiladas. It was admittedly a lunch time portion, but the size was stereotypically gourmet... on the small side.
