Those silly price estimates - "$80 to make!" - are way off, at least if this fellow is to be believed.

Something I need to learn to do.

I feel sorry for Sony, having grown up enjoying many of their products, but then I also remember how resistant to change they often were.

Case in point: it took Sony a couple of years to accept that MP3s were where the action is at as far as how music is enjoyed and shared nowadays, and to make their MiniDisc format work with MP3s, however clunky the solution. But by then it was too late for the format. (Of course there were other issues with MD too, but there you go.)

Apple has it right: you have to be open to and even actively seeking to develop what's coming up - redundate your own products/solutions before anyone else does.
After years of poor performance, Sony has decided to relinquish its role as one of the world’s premier manufacturer of audiovisual devices to focus mainly on entertainment.

I have no idea what the room is like. But the view of Lac Leman from the waterfront at the base of the hotel really is astounding.

Memories! :)
Most Expensive Hotel Room in the World

Royal Penthouse Suite At Hotel President Wilson
$83,200/Night

Located in Geneva, the Royal Penthouse Suite in the Hotel President Wilson is deemed to be the single most expensive hotel room in the world, with a price tag of $83,200 a night (though it could drop down to $59,000, what a bargain!).

And what does that get you? How about trying 12 bedrooms and 12 marble bathrooms on for size? And let’s throw in a wraparound terrace with breathtaking panoramic views of the Swiss Alps and Lake Geneva, which have inspired various famous musicians over the years. Traveling without your posse? The hotel provides a private staff, including butler, chef, and personal assistant, to ensure you have your every want and need taken care of.

I'm sure you have seen the story on Google+ or the blogosphere that claims Apple now has more security flaws than Microsoft. The source of this data is from the NVD -- National Vulnerability Database -- which is run by the government. So I checked up on this using their reporting system. Microsoft has wayyyyyyy more vulnerabilities than Apple -- over 10 times as many.

GFI have massaged this data in order to come up with this conclusion. Welcome to the bizzaro world of the Internet, where Apple Cars will soon be on the road and companies with dominant market share refuse to release their actual sales figures...

Yeah... More Internet garbage...

I will be working on an article about this. I will run the reports and take screen shots of the results. In the meantime, don't sell your MacBook for a Windows machine. I mean, there was just a big story on the news about how Lenovo had spyware on their machines for years. These problems don't even count as Windows vulnerabilities, because the spyware wasn't made by Micsoroft. It's just another layer of horrible security...

Whoa.
Palm was the company behind some of the original PDAs that some fans of the iPhone and Android devices today cut their teeth on. Palm was unable to compete when the smartphone boom started in earnest and eventually went out of business with the name and…
