For anyone working with electronics or radio and the BeagleBone, a very interesting new open-source tool from Google. Great potential as an SDR, or a powerful piece of test equipment.

This "Giving Tuesday", we hope you might consider donating to the Bay Area Mountain Rescue Unit (BAMRU) . Our all volunteer and self funded team needs community support to be ready and able to respond to calls for missing people anywhere, anytime, in any conditions. No donation is too small, every dollar helps!

We will be operating from the club room at the Charlotte, NC Salvation Army headquarters (W4CQ). With temperatures in the mid-90's it just makes good sense. Tonight we got the club room all cleaned up and ready!

Even the big sellers mix it up sometimes... this "Kenwood mobile" sure looks like a Yaesu HT (VX8) to me. :-)

Always so promising, but often disappointed. Ordered "Eggs and Toast" dish recently... eggs were cold, tiny toast, and had to ask twice for the side of bacon I had ordered. I want to love this place, but you've got to step it up.
