By the way, not to spoil the effect, but this happens when you import email from another account (in this case, one I'd had since 1999).
My Gmail is so awesome, it predates Gmail's very existence.
Sometimes I find your comments very subtle. Maybe it's my English. Is this good for Gmail or do I miss a big fat underlying layer of sarcasm (spilled over anything not Apple originated)? I know it would be stupid for you to explain (and no, I'm not on the verge of anything thank you), but now and then I'm really confused.
Andre, just click the pic and you'll see that Chris is pointing out that he's had POP enabled for all mail that has arrived since 11/17/99 (which predates the existence of Gmail). The thumbnail in G+ cuts the "99" off the date, which is the whole deal.
