Dear Followers,

If you want to organize your contacts better and merge lots of duplicates in your contacts list easily then this will be interesting for you.

Google contacts just upgraded to a new version and it got much better in finding duplicates in your address book. To give it a try, just copy and paste that link into your browser: https://contacts.google.com/preview

I always merged my duplicates before already, but now with the new tool it still found 50+ duplicates in my contacts...so it's really worth running it, plus it looks better. :-)

Attention, it will ask you to merge all your duplicates at once and I DON'T recommend to do so without reviewing them. One of mine was a false negative, but it was a "John Smith" like.

Happy Wednesday!

Cheers,
Andy

P.S.: Thanks #GoogleContactsTeam

You’re more likely to actually achieve what you set out to do if you work on it intermittently.
Notice how we only feel we are doing "something" when that "something" can be externally measured... by other people?

If anybody is using Adobe Digital Editions to read EPUB Files (ebooks) on Windows you really should start looking for an alternative. Apparently it sends the name of the book, the page you are currently reading etc all to Adobe UNENCRYPTED.

Once again legitimate customers are being screwed over. If you had pirated the book (not that I endorse any piracy)  you wouldn't need to use Digital Editions  in the first place since they all come without any DRM..

p.s. I buy my  ebooks from O'Reilly at  http://shop.oreilly.com/  . Their files don't have any DRM.

Digital Editions even tracks which pages you've read. It might break a New Jersey Law.

The Z3C is indeed an amazing phone. +Sony (+Sony Xperia ) have seriously outdone themselves again. I love my Xperai Z1 and reckon that the Z3C must be a great phone as well. +Sony  keep it up.

The Difference Between An Amazing Phone, And A Mid-Range Phone

Motorola makes a phone called the Moto G. It's a lot less expensive than its big brother. And it's chunkier and bigger and heavier, but it's a mid-range phone. So you expect that.

So let's compare Apple's mid-range chunky new iPhone 6 to an amazing phone, the new Xperia Z3 Compact.

First, you can see that despite that fact that they have the same size screen, the iPhone is easily 20 percent bigger. Huge bezels. I mean, it's a full 2+ mm wider for no good reason. Massive airstrip size bezels on the top and bottom. That's a key indicator of a great design versus a (they'll buy it) design. Sony actually took their last Z Compact, kept it the same height and width, made it thinner, added a BIGGER screen, and front facing stereo speakers that sound amazing. Something Apple has never been able to figure out. Plus it has a dedicated camera button. Something you don't think you'll care about until you get used to using it. And that comes in very handy since on top of being smaller while having smaller bezels and the same size screen, it's WATERPROOF. You can actually take pictures underwater with it.

Now, that's all very impressive. But it's even more impressive when you realize the Z3 Compact costs less by about 150 bucks. Even moreso when you factor the Z3 Compact not only looks nicer, it has about three times more battery life. And since Sony made the camera Apple uses in the iPhone 6, you'll be thrilled to have a camera easily twice as good from Sony in their own phone. Sony are the experts. Oh, and their's doesn't stick out like a pimple. It's properly designed.

That's the difference between a midrange phone like the new iPhone 6, and an amazing phone.

Now you are beginning to understand why picking between the new Moto X and the new Z3 Compact has been so hard.

If you know  the Series 'Person of Interest" I am pretty sure this music will sound familiar. It took me quite some time to identify the name of the song

just brutal .... I have to admit I fell asleep 10 minutes into the presentation, woke up 2 hours  later and the presentation was already done. Read the news on the Verge and Arstechnica and was really disappointed. I expected Apple to do better.
