Day 2 of my Call of Cthulhu project is done. Fewer words than last night, but not every day is a winner. Of course, as I started work tonight, I got concepts for two more adventures I want to try out after this is done. My brain is trying to trick me into not working. Stupid brain.

Games from TableTop  -

At PAX East, I was lucky enough to find a copy of "Unspeakable Words," although I believe it is not the same printing as used on the show. The Cthulhu tokens are purple, the die is clear and a lot smaller, and the box looks different. Still, plays just as well!

All I need now is for "Fortune and Glory" to come back in stock...

Back at home after a very successful #TableTopDay. I can't tell you how many people we seated, but I was doing games for 12 hours straight. The biggest hits were Elder Sign, Ticket to Ride, Lords of Waterdeep, Betrayal at House on the Hill, and Shadows over Camelot. All great games and I'm glad I could be a part of helping bring games to new people. Next year will be even better!

But for now, sleep.

500 words in on my Call of Cthulhu project. Took me about an hour to do. Hope for better output as time goes on, but the material and I are still getting to know each other. The madness continues tomorrow night.

Tekserve is the best independent Apple retailer, bar none. Their shop is big, and has plenty of room to move around. You get a chance to lay your hands on all the products, and there are dedicated sections of the store to pro applications (music/video/graphic design). But what really does it for me is the retro aesthetic. From the moment you walk in, you see old Macintosh computers from the 1980s and typewriters sitting alongside superpowerful iMacs and iPads. If you are looking for an Apple product and are in the NYC area, give this place a visit. You won't be disapointed.

There is no comic book shop in the city like Forbidden Planet, and their recent move only makes the store better. Gone are the cramped walking spaces, the bag checks, and the top floor. Everything is laid out in a nice open floor with lots of space for moving around and seeing all the awesome stuff this store has to offer. If you're visiting Union Square and are nerd-inclined, you owe it to yourself to stop by.
