I'm a little late to this thread, but I just found out that the roasted peanuts street vendors don't offer wifi. Back when a small startup company called Starbucks put wifi in their "cafes", they tripled their marketshare over night. Just saying. Plus, the ROI on hot nuts has always been exceptional.
I don't care about video, or doing stunts or tricks but I realized a drone is basically just a camera that you can put places you normally can't.
I'm curious about using them for fine art still photography. Most take stills too. Until I feel confident I'm playing with one with a low res camera (but which won't give me a heart attack if I fly it into the bay).
Not many people use them this way so not much out there in terms of tips.
So far I'm impressed by the stability & control, both vital for shooting stills obviously.
