I've recently realized that there are something's us old android users have got used to and just expect. One is that contacts is stored in gmail. Since the first androids didn't have all this cloud stuff it was the solution. As the backup kept growing we now have drive, which is where one would expect backups go. Backup of contacts, back up of photos, really, I would almost expect my phone to backup like the drive folder on my PC does.
Instead we get this confusing and hard to explain backup where photos go to g+, contacts go to gmail, nothing "syncs" automatically to drive but you can store stuff there.
Since its all the same storage space and typically Google works with flat file systems, it should be easy to change this, and hopefully they will soon.
Again, most annoying is to take a picture on phone, assume you can post it to say, eBay or your blog straight from drive on your chromebook justvto find its only on g+ and you have to download it then upload it and 15 minutes later you finished what should be a 2 minute thing.
