Olympus & The Northern Wastes - WiP

Still working on the backdrop for the Divine Politics map/graphic. This is the part of the background which I've reshaped since the last version to give a much greater sense of depth.

Divine Politics - Very rough, work in progress

In this version I'm combining a spatial scale of how much each god likes  / hates the other with a pseudo-geographic map showing the god's location / centre of power. i.e. Cronus in tartarus, Zeus on Olympus Poseidon in the Med.

There is a lot of work needed to make it pretty but I think I've finally got a layout / concept which works.

3 to 4 players, for 3 to 4 hours

One ordinary morning in an ordinary diner turns extraordinary when someone orders the super-sized chicken surprise.  A B-movie horror adventure in the spirit of the classic 1950s.  Bwaaaak...

I've spent a couple of hours roughing out different ideas for the cover of 6d6 Hellenic. This was the best in terms of general layout and shows promise.

I like the layout and love the style, but the white seems super super white. I think the blue bar also competes with the sea, and I think the cover would be stronger without it.

Divine Politics - Making Progress

I'm happy with the how the map is taking in a more 3d shape with Olympus being a lot more dominant and the overall image less flat. I need to add more detail to the current blank parts of the map and I will need to do something with the sea.

My biggest uncertainty is the labeling. The 3d shadow helps make them standout and to be more than just some words dropped on the page but they are not right. Not sure what to do with them so any suggestions appreciated.

Divine Politics - Progress but still very much work in progress

I've rejigged the geography in this version, making Olympus much more prominent. Other areas of the map have been adjusted as well and allowing me to make the icy northern wastes clearer.

Shrinking the scale has allowed me to give the gods a more logical arrangement and has the added bonus of ensuring nearly every god opposes nearly every other god.

This is very nice, an easy reference that's much easier to follow than the spider charts we looked at before. Are we going to texture the land and sea a little more? Also how can we make the wastes look more frozen and less like clouds?

First read it as battleloft. Now thinking of using magnets for a 3d dungeon
