The Gorgonorhynchus
So the strange white thing that seems to “erupt” from the worm is its proboscis. This is a tubular sucking organ that some worms use to feed.
During eversion, which takes place almost explosively, the short main trunk first appears, then this divides and the finer and filter branches appear, but since each one of these is the result of an evagination the effect is almost indescribable. It is as if a large number of lively, wriggling, minute worms had been shot out.

What is more sad us how many just jumped on the Assumption Bandwagon, without even taking the two seconds to check.

"Hot breakfasts have been replaced with MRE for troops at some military bases in Afghanistan that are transitioning to local control."
It makes total sense that during the pull out facilities must be shut down to be moved.

Is this true?

It looks to me as though humans have a predisposition to misunderstand evolution. Sometimes we poke fun at creationists when they say things that demonstrate that they don't understand the science they're denying, but, to be fair, I remember having a ton of misconceptions about evolution when I was a kid. "How could dinosaurs have evolved into people?" I wondered. Even doing research for this book has taught me a lot about evolution that I didn't know. As an example of a common misunderstanding, here is a creationist infographic. This art makes it look as though evolution says we evolved from chimps, which makes intuitive sense. Our intuition, in this case, is wrong.
Humans have a bias for one-to-one relationships. There's a one-to-one relationship between puppies and dogs. Each puppy will grow up to be a dog, and each dog was once a puppy. Humans understand that; even children do. If we hear that we evolved from apes, it's easy to infer the general rule that "apes evolve into humans." A creationist commonly concludes that since the apes in the zoo didn't evolve into us, then no apes did. It doesn't come naturally to think that chimps evolved from the same apes that we did. Even people who agree with evolution sometimes think that chimps are evolving into us and just haven't gotten as far yet.
There are other ways in which evolution defies our intuitions and is hard to grasp. For me, that's why it's important to bring these ideas to children early, and to show them simple phylogenetic trees. We're all related, but each living species is on its own evolutionary journey.
