Been playing with the Lens Baby Sweet 35mm recently. I shot this statue of Albert Einstein in the Frankfurt airport, I think it was in the food court area. Shot on a Canon EOS M5 body.

Finally processed some of my recent images from my trip to a couple of Texas state parks. This is the upper waterfall at McKinney Falls State Park near Austin. I tried some shots at sunset but the light wasn't so good and there were lots of people in the way so I went back at sunrise and shot with better lighting and no people!

We had a blast at the +Texas Renaissance Festival this past weekend! Other than the big traffic jam it was a great day with the family.

I've been scanning some old images today.  These are from some old rather large negatives from my grandfather's collection. He went out  to China in 1902 and stayed until 1929 as the Japanese began their occupation.

This one is of my father, his sister and my grandmother all out for a day of horseback riding at the Forbidden City in Beijing, circa 1926. My grandmother was a pretty snappy dresser!

Sad to hear that my old school, +Brooks Institute will close at the end of October after 70 years.  I graduated in 1980 and have mostly good memories and it gave me the building blocks for my career. The school went downhill after CEC bought it from the Brooks family and put profit ahead of everything.  It was recently sold to GPhomestay with no experience in running schools.  And the only announcement is on Twitter!

I am 60 today. Never thought about being this old . Come on over to the pool for a swim!  Taken in about 1957 on an Argus 3 and Kodachrome.

My wife and I dined at one of our favorite Seattle spots and as usual the good food we had made a great subject for some still life images using my Canon M and M3. As the summer weather was nice we sat outside and the ability to use natural light helped.
