CTR and "dwell time" or bounce rate likely both have impact upon rankings.

CTR from SERPs is particularly influential. Not only does Google test out various Title text to display in SERPs for particular keywords for a page, but rankings are also influenced by CTR.

Bounce rate seems to be much more subtle, and likely dependent upon the query and relative bounce rate of other competing pages for the same phrase. In my research websites with thousands of content pages, when I adjust details that increase dwell time on pages, I see a correlated increase in rankings/traffic. Yet, this is a fairly subtle factor that's difficult to isolate.

Matthew Anton of Backlinksvault and Backlinks Vault itself must be avoided at all cost. Buyer Beware.
His companies have two detailed yelp reports in which many of his illegal activities are noted
Matthew Anton may be under criminal investigation in Atlanta in the States of Georgia.
Matthew Anton is noted by, and up for review, by the Better Business Bureau of the State of Georgia.
He May be up for censure by The State of Georgia Chamber of Commerce; The Columbus, Georgia Chamber of Commerce, and the Atlanta, Georgia Chamber of Commerce.
Matthew Anton is a party to no less than Three Ripoff Reports from past customers that state they have been cheated by him.

Matthew Anton and Backlinks Vault File False Ripoff Reports:
Report: #1187650 Complaint Review: Rober Atilan
Reported By: Rober Atilan Troll — Encino California         Submitted: Sat, November 08, 2014
It is essential to note that this report about Rober Atilan was AUTHORED BY ROBER ATILAN
No Person would write a Ripoff Report About themselves.
In this report, it is easily noted that Matthew Anton edited the text of an internet article to slander people. To further slander an individual, he underlined, in red, that which is most offensive. He included only 5 lines of a 60 line article. He postioned in his editng comments out of context and not related to the original text and he underlined in red that re-positioned text.
That Matthew Anton wrote this false report is easily observed.

There is more on the internet about why you should never do business with Matthew Anton and BacklinksVault. You may search further as you wish.
He is selling a scam SEO process in addition to that which is presented here about his malfeasance. There is no email, phone numbers or physical location for him and Backlinks Vault on the Backlinks vault website as of this writing.
We have no need to connect any more dots or do any more research on him and his company.
He has no problem calling people ass and asshole in the internet. He is as unprofessional as he is a criminal.

Feeding the Hummingbird: Structured Markup Isn't the Only Way to Talk to Google
http://moz.com/blog/feeding-the-hummingbird

Here's the deal: People who haven't implemented structured data on their website shouldn't feel left out of the entity search revolution. While microformats and Schema.org are great, they are only one of the ways search engines can extract relationships from your content.

In this post we explore 7 ways to strengthen semantic relationships in your content, including;
• Keywords
• HTML elements
• Entities and synonyms
• Anchor text and links
• Google Local
• Structured data highlighter
• CMS plugins

... all without complex markup languages. (and at least 3 reference to +Bill Slawski) Read the full post here: http://moz.com/blog/feeding-the-hummingbird

Check out my newest article on +Search Engine Land that pubbed yesterday, 4/20 - looking at the state of online local marketing via Local SEO and PPC for Recreational Marijuana businesses:  #recreationalmarijuana
Today marks the first time that April 20th — known amongst pot smokers as “420″ and frequently celebrated with smoking parties — is a legally observable event in the United States (in some places, at least, since the states of Washington and Colorado have legalized recreational use of the drug for adults). So, what does this […]

We work so hard to get our brick-and-mortar buildings recognized and indexed by Google - but what about the products in those buildings, our own inventory? Chris Silver Smith shares top-notch tips for truly comprehensive local SEO - which includes a long-forgotten element: local products SEO:
In the competition to rank highest in local search results, you must employ a number of tactics in coordination. It’s not unlike playing a chess game. My newest Search Engine Land article -- is there a local business you know that's hamstringing themselves with some internet marketing myths?
As an internet marketer, I frequently encounter local business owners (and large chain store companies with many local outlets) that haven’t had time to really understand online marketing. Many of them have latched onto some myth that’s completely false — and which can keep their businesses from soaring as high as they otherwise might. It’s […]

There are rules for these sorts of things. They are how civilizations are built and maintained.

I have used Search Influence to perform work on behalf of my own clients, and I've been very pleased with the results. Even though they're based in Louisiana, I've contracted for their work over here in Dallas, so they really can do nationwide work even though they are a search marketing agency located in New Orleans. They're honest, easy to work with, and pleasant. I'd trust them to do my internet advertising any time!

I've gone here for a number of years and I've always gotten very good service. This has become my favorite dry cleaner, and I drive up here some distance just because the quality is so good. My clothes never smell bad -- odor free -- and the ironing/pressing work seems excellent. I'm very happy with the prices, too -- I used to go to Bibbentuckers nearby before they closed and got similar quality, but the price at Millennium is better.

Some really good pizza choices! However, for particularly healthy, low-cal stuff, I order a Focaccia and half-salad for my meal. And, that's plenty! I particularly like the salad with slices of pear, candied walnuts and such.

My friends and I ate lunch here on Saturday while touring up the coast from Santa Cruz. Frankly, I think it must be one of the best Italian restaurants in the San Francisco area! We noticed a Facebook promo sticker on the door and discovered that if we "liked" them we'd get a free round of drinks -- a gift we partook of! My roasted beet salad was crisp enjoyable, and my butternut squash ravioli was excellent! I tasted my friend's grilled steak and it was fantastically good, however! Tiramisu also topped off a wonderful meal. I'd definitely go there again!
