Karin and I just completed a tour with the Dalat Easy Rider Club. It was a fun, exciting way to learn about Vietnam! This is day 1 of our trip starting from Da Lat.

We've arrived in Bangkok!
Our first stop in Southeast Asia was Bangkok, the bustling capitol of Thailand. Bangkok is a busy, dirty city but it is filled with very friendly people who always greet you with a smile.

I want one of those 3-wheeled pickup truck bikes in your picture.  Can you find out how much they are and if it's legal to bring one back ?

The grandmother of the herd got a little defensive of us sitting there after a while and wanted us to leave. Quite thrilling!

It was a game reserve just north of Port Elizabeth. Although we did accidentally drive toward Lesotho for about an hour in between East London and Durban!

Here's an intro to ScriptCraft, a mod for Minecraft that allows you to build things using JavaScript! The JS logo pictured here is available on Github, and I put a PR in to include it with the mod so everyone can enjoy gigantic JS logo goodness.

Talk about a lucky find! We discovered Wat Pho while aimlessly walking away from the super busy Grand Palace. It was unbelievable!
We accidentally stumbled upon Wat Pho, the most beautiful place we have seen so far in Thailand. The amount of care and craft put into these temples is truly magnificent.

Our last day in Paris we went to the Palace of Versailles
We went to Versailles on our last day in Paris. Aside from the insane amount of tourists, it was pretty neat.

Heading to Paris to visit my cousin Emily before flying out to Bangkok. Check out the photosphere of the catacombs!
The first stop on our trip to Asia was actually Paris! My cousin Emily had just moved there and we wanted to get a visit in before leaving for 6 months.

My "Mobile Web Performance" Google Tech Talk is finally up, trying to segment Mobile Web Perf into 3 main topics and explain how to tackle each.
Check out the video here: http://bit.ly/sgqeZd . If you prefer a cleaner recording (and no audience questions...), you can watch a webinar I gave with similar content here: http://vimeo.com/32917131 .

After falling down a waterfall and getting a moderate wound, I was treated and stitched up here. The initial visit was fine but follow-ups for wound cleanings were pretty negligent and I got a massive abscess that the young nurse on staff did not notice. If you have any remotely serious medical issues, take a bus to Chiang Mai at the earliest chance possible and receive care at the University hospital near the old square on the west edge.

Great burgers in the bustling downtown area of Pai. Others have mentioned that the food is great, but something I liked about the place was that the owner only staffs women, offering employment opportunities outside of rural work. Gives the name a whole new meaning!

Fantastic warung. Authentic food at local prices in stark contrast to the nearby mall and surrounding restaurants. I ordered something spicy and the owner was thrilled when I chomped it all down. really nice folks.

Great tasting, interesting flavors! Highly recommend the goat cheese, and their salty sweet cream was top-notch.

This is the wrong coordinates for the beach. Go a few minutes eastbound and ask people for Skull Beach if you get lost.
