A company called Parabon is offering a service to use DNA from crime scenes to construct a composite sketch of suspects. "Physical traits like eye color and hair color all of that is written in the DNA."
The technology generates an image using only DNA left at crime scenes, giving police a new tool in cases like the disappearance of an 8-year-old girl.

                    Bernie is Fighting for Students
Senator Bernie Sanders has recently introduced a bill that would eliminate undergraduate tuition. Titled the “College for All Act,” the bill would eliminate the $70 billion dollar tuition costs at all 4-year public colleges and universities.

“We live in a highly-competitive global economy and, if our economy is to be strong, we need the best-educated workforce in the world. That will not happen if, every year, hundreds of thousands of bright young people cannot afford to go to college, and if millions more leave school deeply in debt.”

As many of you know I was involved in a Road Traffic Collision on the A23 near Pyecombe in the early hours of Saturday morning. I was on my way home after an op, and despite feeling very tired I stupidly continued driving as I thought I could make it home.....

CRASH!!!! thing I know I'm bouncing off the central reservation at 65-70 mph, I then careered across three lanes before hitting a lamppost side on (if it was head on it could have been a lot worse, but luckily I managed to steer out of it) and coming to a halt in some bramble bushes on the side of the road.

Luckily the first person on scene was a firefighter on his way to work, quickly followed by a few other people who had stopped to help. The fire service, ambulance and police were on scene within about 10 minutes and I was given immediate medical attention before being cut out my car by the fire brigade and rushed to hospital. Thankfully I sustained no significant injuries, only a few cuts from flying glass and some serious aches n pains. The doctor said I was lucky to be alive, she couldn't believe I was walking about and being sent home 12 hours after an RTC which closed 2 lanes of the A23.

Lesson learnt the hard way, but at least I won't be doing that again in a hurry. It could have been so much worse, not only for me but for others too.

I'm a barrel of fun, creativity, debate and adventure. Come take a ride..
I'm a creative geek. Pretty good way to sum it up in a short line. I enjoy reading, writing, webpage development, gaming, drinking, anything that involves nature and the outdoors, women, politics, space, and socializing. The order does not mean I like any of these things more than the others.

Obviously my days are pretty busy, because if I'm not doing one of these things then I'm doing another. I always have time to make a new friend or meet someone who just might be able to capture my imagination for a while.

Currently I work as a front-end developer for an up-and-coming social network, and I am the owner and developer of The Den of Amateur Writing (A social network for writers of all skills and ages.)

G+ me up!
