I contributed one of my favourite destinations to this list for +Webjet.com.au. Some great spots mentioned from some knowledgeable folk.   #travel
We asked our favourite travel bloggers to share the holiday destinations that give them wanderlust, from Vietnam to the Amalfi Coast.

amazing shot from Wilson's Prom in Victoria. Australia sure is a beautiful place

Wilson's Prom lookout point

Day 5

After a quick cup of tea (I'm English!) in my wilderness retreat tent I set out on a bit of a hike to take in some of the stunning views the area has to offer.

Whilst at a lookout point with only me around (in was very quiet, you could only hear the birds) I took this #photosphere  - +Google Maps

You never really know with #photospheres if they'll turn out well (tried one in my tent, it was rubbish!), but this one is pretty good!

Have a look for yourself and let me know what you think!

You'll see Norman Beach, Tidal River, Squeaky Beach (named because the sand makes a squeaky noise when you walk on it), Mount Oberon and Mount Bishop.

The view was breathtaking, I sat for a good 15mins taking it in.

Becoming an Expat at home is easier than you think and allows you to hold onto that allure of travel that you may not be ready to give up

A sunrise I snapped at home here in Australia while still half asleep and battling my jetlag

http://www.theaussienomad.com/featured-photos/a-welcome-home-sunrise/
There are many things I've missed about Australia but the most obvious would have to be the amazing blue skies and sunrises we see every summer.

Do you avoid touristy places when you travel? Personally I think they are touristy for a reason so thats all part of the experience.

I generally do as well, but I have stood in those crowds in the picture. Oh, and I'm currently a couple blocks from Hollywood and Highland, our celebrity Mecca, if you will. I'm visiting family for the holiday and normally wouldn't be caught dead here. My wife and I hold annual passes to the National Park sites, as that is much more our speed. I'll take a greasy spoon over a Hard Rock any day of the week.
