Let's do this together. Give $1 and I will match it for 'Adopt Children Affected in Nepal'. https://onetoday.google.com/m/n95myide
Did you know? Over 1000 children have been orphaned in the recent earthquake in Nepal and are on the streets. They have no means to continue their education.

I knew that "additives" weren't treated to the same scrutiny as "ingredients" but this brings me to a whole new level of disgust.

The object is not to make hydrogen … but if hydrogen is being produced we must not waste it, and therefore we shall burn it.

I wonder how much their gut bacteria is influenced by the fact that Yanomami are cannibalistic.  Interesting to hear that a group managed to stay out of contact until 2008 -- their cannibalistic practices so interest anthropologists that these tribes are mentioned in pretty much every college-level anthro course.

Haven't watched the video, but they have had contact with the outside long before 2008, we learned about them in Anthro 101 in 1989 or so.

It's apparently national chocolate chip cookie week (who knew?!).  Anyway, +King Arthur Flour pulls one off again -- these have to be the best chocolate chip cookie I've ever made/tasted.
What happens when you type “best chocolate chip cookie recipe” into your Google search box? Well, for one, you get “about 10,800,000 results (0.75 seconds),” as Google is proud to let you know. And proud they should be – remember looking for recipes pre-Internet? The bookshelves… (These are only two of the eight-and-a-half shelves I &

Surprise! Grocery Store Honey is Not Actually Honey
feedproxy.google.com

That honey that lines the shelves of your local grocery store probably isn't honey at all.

Thai food unlike anything you've had before (unless you've been to Thailand). Fresh local ingredients, no overwhelming/fattening coconut milk. This place instantly turned into one of my favorite lunch spots, and their ever-changing menu keeps me coming back. I just wish they stayed open a little longer so I could get take-out on my way home from work.
