It was a cold and windy one, that night of Dec 31, 1995. OK, actually I have no idea if it was cold or windy. We lived in GA so it was probably humid and mild. What I do remember is that my wife was 7+ months pregnant with our ...

That Day I Set Foot In The Oval Office. 20 Apr 2014. I know a guy that knows a woman that works in the White House, and she generously gave up a Saturday afternoon to take us on a tour of the West Wing. The West Wing tour is not a public tour, the only way you get to do it is to be a big time ...

There are alternatives to Google Maps, and in certain use cases, they are better alternatives.
Open Source Offline Navigation. Planning my camping trip to GA last week I knew my route would have me outside of T-Mobile data service for a good portion of the trip. So I hit Google to figure out how to use Google Maps in an offline mode. You can't do that. It's not a supported feature.

Selfie from the White House Press Room. Friend that works in White House gave us a tour of the West Wing. I got to look into the Oval Office from the door. It's smaller than it looks on TV.

I have had nothing but honest, high-quality service from the Plank Road staff. The only time my cars go somewhere else is when Little Tire refers me on to a specialist or the dealership.

Bought a car there a month ago. Had my mechanic give a look before buying and he gave it a clean bill of health. Sales guy was laid back and not pushy at all, didn't try to talk me into financing or extended warranties.
