Every day things around you will change. I once worked at a company where we reviewed the performance of each executive each quarter by how well they hit their goals. You know, you go around the table and review what the goals were for the quarter and see…

There are tons of SEO questions we all face (or hear) all the time. Here's my new favorite of them all, and why it should matter to you.

Good thoughts.  Competing with yourself can be ok (each page may serve a slightly different long-tail type of phrase), but it's always good to keep things tightened up.

This blog isn’t political. It doesn’t get into debate (except for which plugin is better for your site, or which pricing lesson to apply). But Thomas Jefferson once said All tyranny needs to gain a foothold is for people of good conscience to remain…
What's happening near St. Louis, in a town called Ferguson, is sadly not shocking. But it's something we all need to pay attention to. Suddenly a small town of 21000 has police equipped with military grade weaponry for a vigil. Please pay attention and come to your own conclusions.

If you've thought about creating a WordPress product, you've wondered how to deal with your GPL code shared everywhere. My interview with Carl Hancock helps.

I hear the request a lot: do you know of a WordPress plugin that will do everything? The truth? If it existed you couldn't afford it. But there's good news.

We talk a lot about passwords and plugins. But our discussions about WordPress security should really change. Here's how.

Collaboration is important, no question, we work closely with WPEngine for the same reasons you selected them and more, but our experience suggests that a balanced approach to WordPress security will make a site even more secure. We tell our customers that there are four areas that they should consider, hosting is number one, but hardening, access and maintenance should also be considered. For us, WordPress Security is like a HHAM sandwich 😊.

It's so easy, with so much great content being written all the time, to miss some of these great WordPress articles. So here's a quick list to check out.

This looks interesting. I will check it out. Have you looked at the plugins from Inbound Now? We use and recommend them for our customers' sites, and the leads plugin seems to similar.

I know a lot of folks say they want to hire the best staff they can find. My approach is different. Here's why.

I found an old podcast that quickly shared 15 key things to think about (before starting projects, sites, or startups). They include my fav: I say no.
