Last chance to get the PrideDroid shirts before they're printed and shipped.
Who can say why one person loves a Nexus while someone else loves a Note? We don't judge people's choices, because we all share something in common: an OS that allows us to express who we are through our mobile devices. This tee celebrates an ecosystem as diverse as the people who use it. Happy equality!

I gotta say, I admire the new Pope's commitment to austerity, but but should the Vatican really be playing such an active role in Westerosi politics?

Lol. He is in south america now. The poor countries are spending near 300 millions to receive him. Or course, nor near the almost 3 billions that Brazil spend. I want this kind of "Commitment to austerity". To.

There's not always fire where there's smoke, but when the whole horizon is covered with it, it's a damn good possibility.

A lot of folks pushed the boundaries of "Innocent until proven guilty" with Cosby, refusing to believe the iconic entertainer could be so far out of character when, well, out of character. Newly found documents prove beyond the shadow of a doubt that Cosby himself admitted to having the means and motive, and at least once, the opportunity. Even if you don't believe every single accuser, it's at least true once, and that's all that matters.

He's far beyond the statute of limitations, but there's no question that his legacy (and estate) will eventually pay the price for his actions.
AP gets documents showing Cosby admitting getting drugs to give women he sought for sex.

+Keith Bloemendaal  I dont think that true at all.
Cosby was able to continue touring to sell-out crowds.
If anything,  Most people wanted to believe he was innocent.

The tide didnt even start to turn against him, until there were over 30 public accusers, and it included other celebrities.

Janice Dickinson said it was included in her autobiography year ago and Cosby leaned on the publishers to edit it.  Thats a shocking claim, one that Cosby could have sued her on ( if what she said was false ) .

This doesnt establish her allegations are true, but it does prove an organized campaign to shield Cosby from critics going back farther than a  decade.  If Janice Dickinson was lying thats an open-shut case of slander and defamation.

and its a matter of public record. Janice Dickinson was risking her career and a lot of money if she was lying.

Once his reputation was damaged Cosby had a very strong basis for defamation.  Its telling that he refused to defend himself in any way.

Cosbys own peers came out with allegations against him. Other Celebrities, both  white and Black.  Wives of Celebrities.

My advice to you on getting exactly what you want when hiring a web developer for a project.

You can't always get what you want...
Or can you? (http://gplus.ly/1f8WFef)

When you hand off a project to your developer... do you say a little prayer in the hopes that what he or she delivers will be somewhat close to what you want? Wouldn't you prefer to get EXACTLY what you want??? If so, these tips from web developer +Chris Jenkins will help you learn how to communicate properly with your web developer so you can be sure that you CAN always get what you want.

Kansas City folks: got a devops gig for anyone looking:

From the recruiter:

Seeking a Systems Engineer for a contract to evaluate our development, testing and hosting environments, tools and processes and design and implement solutions that provide automation throughout our process.  Ultimately they want to establish an efficient process for managing a significant number of clients and their ongoing development and maintenance work.  Develops and hosts client websites on a LAMP/Wordpress stack.  Key areas for improvement:
·        Development environment setup – both local and shared

·        Version Control – use of branches

·        Automated deployment

·        Promotion of releases

·        Monitoring of production environments

·        Wordpress maintenance

Seeking a Systems Engineer who can manage the day-to-day operations of our managed hosting environment where we host client websites on a LAMP/WordPress stack and can support and evolve our development tools, systems and processes to improve the efficiency and efficacy of our development processes.  We are looking for someone who has some PHP development skill and knowledge of modern web development tools and processes and who has experience with, or has been exploring, automation and improved development workflow.  We are looking to make serious progress with automation and change/configuration management and feel a strong DevOps approach will improve our ability to provide rock-solid solutions quickly, efficiently and at scale for our clients.  The perfect candidate will be interested in an iterative, optimization approach and won’t be afraid to leverage the off-the-shelf tools/components/systems as much as possible and build what is needed to fill any gaps.

Introduction
Hi there! I'm a Florida based web guy with cool friends and a questionable sense of humor. I love code, craft beers, and long walks on the beach while playing Ingress. I'm happily married to my best friend, and the proud father of two.

If you're still reading, you must be bored, so you can check out my business website, my Google Glass musings, or maybe up your cooking game by getting some amazing spices and oils from my Mother-in-Law's awesome spice shop

Beard maintenance: I didn't even know I needed it until I had it. Now I stop in once every two weeks, and leave looking like a million bucks, and my clients even comment on how good I look. Also a huge fan of the local beers on tap.

Beautiful back deck on the water makes for an outstanding dining experience. We ate there twice in three days while on business. Don't miss the Lobster nuggets, a seriously decadent appetizer. Good margaritas and decent draft selection.
