Adding dry ice has been tricky but fun. The first time we tried it we were so busy geeking out that we used up the ice before most of the dungeon had even been unveiled. The second time we made sure to have much more of it on hand and not burn it down so fast. It also helped to direct the flow so it didn't just useless boil out everywhere. Here you can see we used a container with a bit of a spout to it so we could have the fog spill out into specific passages. And yes that's a character sheet on top to prevent it from bubbling out too much. Improvisation is the heart of any good D&D night :)

As far as where to get the dry ice? Apparently they fish counter at the grocery store. Easy and cheap. As a bonus I'm pretty sure the whole experience broke my two year old daughter's brain.
