+Tobias Hochgürtel i'm not sure about the conveyors. It was a demo from TI and Linestream, if you get in touch with them, they might be able to help you out (they were mostly showing off the motors and control algorithms)

just add 60Hz +-5Hz notch filter, and that will work just fine

@MattRichardson has gone Maker Samurai. Awesome!

I like the TindieU idea, that will be useful! Now if anyone needs to learn about the electronics side of things...

NI also makes PXI versions of SMUs. But Dave got it right with the other 3 vendors.

Have a real similar circuit on the BenchBudEE for current output. I put a PTC resettable fuse on the high side V+

DMD + MQTT: Difficult, but doable (as Toby showed)

Getting an Android device to understand an Aussie: Extremely difficult :-)

For anyone interested, the windows MQTT download...

http://mosquitto.org/download/

Example code under arduino ..

 client.publish("outTopic","hello world");

Under windows,

Mosquitto_pub.exe -t "outTopic" -m "hello world"

Python,

client.publish("topic", "hello world")

Linux,

sudo Mosquitto_pub -t "outTopic" -m "hello world"

As you can see, pretty easy!

Nice job Chris!  If you want to avoid the split-out from the screws, just pre-drill the holes with a bit about the same size ( or slightly larger ) of the screw dia. not including the threads ( barrel? ).

The family that cleans up crap on a workbench together....stays together. That's how the saying goes, right?

+TheBdd4 $18 is nothing for a one-off precision current source like this. 2 terminal ones aren't much cheaper, if any.
