FINALLY a good use for stem cell research ;)
In a new study, Sanford-Burnham researchers have used human pluripotent stem cells to generate new hair. The study represents the first step toward the development of a cell-based treatment for people with hair loss. In the United States alone, more than 40 million men and 21 million women are ...

Hello winter. Time to stock up on peanut butter, coffee, and batteries!
Britain can expect volatile weather over the coming week, as forecasters predict the UK could experience snow, ice, hail and even lightning.

How long until you can just put these in me and I can stop going to the gym...
Lab-grown muscle isn't new. In 2013, a group of researchers created enough muscle to make a burger that they could eat. But until recently, researchers weren't able to grow muscle that could...

One company is trying to let you make a fresh beer the way you'd make a K-Cup of coffee.

That oughta make the negotiations over the disputed territories go a little more towards China, for better or worse.
China appears to be flexing its considerable military muscle, building a massive island that could host an airstrip in an area of the South China Sea that has become a source of regional tension over disputed territorial claims.

This is one of my favorite "under the radar" haunts in London. Simple great pizza. It used to be pretty cheap, but it's good enough that I'm quite willing to pay their new prices as you never need to book (you can't either).

Our brunch came with whale sightings! Order the feta and spinach omelet or the grande French toast. Amazing.

Just wandered in as this was next to my house - and it was the best experience I've had getting my haircut in the 2 years I've lived in London. I'd never been to a Turkish barber shop before (and didn't know this was one until halfway through my cut) but the service and attention to detail was amazing (ears, back of the neck, etc...). Yeah they charge £21, but it's worth it.
