You know the time to turn the internet off and go to bed is when you come across a site that has the title:

'Caucasian woman dressed up as Native Americans'

Even in the last year, you can see how far 3D printing has moved on. This one feeds on a ream of A4 paper.

I'm pretty sure that's Edinburgh.

Interesting new idea for 3D printing.
Sort of like extreme paper-crafting.
I imagine it would be good for static models and architectural stuff,

For those who are starting to get their Ingress Invites. This is the state of play in the West of Scotland. Blue is Resistance, Green Enlightened.

There are two types of people in the world. Those who side with the powerful, and those who side with the underdog. You will have a chance to decide which one you are, once you have completed your Ingress training.

Also the Communities group Glasgow Resistance is in Latin because they are so up themselves it's unreal. (or so I've heard).

Chris they've already shown that they are going to be able to do some sort of monetising with the zip car, pop chips and chrome bags passcodes over the last couple weeks. I'm sure there will be more like that in the future.

I noticed this about a year ago.

Could not work out what natural process had caused it.

The ice cream van man noticed my camera, and asked me where I'd been. As soon as he said 'bomb crater' it clicked.

When they were kids that's what they were told it was. Would have to get my hands on a metal detector to confirm. No mention of it on the internet.

Inside Glasgow City boundaries!

Tyron, I waited for 30 minutes, and it didnt seem to be getting dark at all, really had to get back to work. Then I clean forgot about the possible show at dawn!

I dont know if the glow in the North was the Sun hitting the Arctic air, but last night no clouds had formed.

They were pretty cool the night before.  But not as good as this:(that's Glasgow Uni)

I now know what to look out for though.

Cool as fuck, when you are fighting for your very existence.

My brother is currently working on a Seismic ship off the coast of Israel. This is what he picked up on his scanner........then investigated the back story.

We found the attached aeroplane on the seabed 50 miles west of the Israeli coast in 1600m of water, it looks undamaged so probably ditched in the sea and sank. My opposite number is a Danish guy who is an enthusiast on WW11 aeroplanes and he thinks it is a Bristol Beaufighter. He checked on the internet and came up with the following amazing story;

In 1948 when Israel got independence they were under attack from the surrounding arab countries but could not buy arms due to an embargo imposed by Britain and allies after Israeli bombs killed British soldiers the previous year in Tel Aviv. The Israelis were desperate for fighter aircraft to shoot Egyptian tanks. Around that time a war film was being made in England and the Israeli secret service approached the film director who had six Bristol Beaufighters on hire for the film, four of which could fly.
One day four pilots turned up for the filming of the aerial scenes and took off in the planes. The planes were meant to circle the airfield and then land again but they kept going and were never seen by the film crew again. Apparently the pilots were Israelis and the planes refuelled in Corsica and then in Yugoslavia and eventually landed in Israel where they were fitted with guns and used against the Arabs.
Apparently this is a true story. We dont know if the plane we found is one of them but it has the same shape and size as a Bristol Beaufighter!
Good story eh?
