Looking for a simple and customizable accordion? Look no further. This small bit o' code relies on jquery and is only 266 bytes! Works well and you can make it look as you like via some CSS.

All hail technoviking. If you remember the video/meme and are even mildly intrigued about how it came to be - give this a watch. #technoviking

Summary for those who like to skim:

"So, while the finer points of the extinction chronology continue to be debated in the halls of bones worldwide, I’ll offer up this summary for those who’ve heard enough: Once upon a time, a giant space rock or three smashed into the Earth, lava spewed everywhere, the air became toxic and most of the big things died.

Happily, humans hadn’t evolved yet."
For nearly forty years, paleontologists have argued over what really killed the dinosaurs. Was it an massive asteroid impact, or a spate of volcanic eruptions? Or what if a powerful impact ignited volcanoes, walloping Earth’s biosphere with a deadly 1-2 punch?

Amazing video capturing the 'calving' of a HUGE ice sheet. Both impressive and worrisome at the same time knowing that the glaciers are melting at this rate... we f'd our plant folks.

Tree climbing AND tool use. Take that religion!
Last month in South Africa, scientists announced the discovery of a new group of early humans called Homo naledi. Now an analysis shows that this hominin had hands capable of both tree climbing and tool use, plus feet that were adapted for walking upright.

Very interesting read on the history/anatomy of the STAR WARS font/logotype: #starwars #logo
The film, Star Wars, premiered on May 25, 1977. To celebrate its 36th anniversary, I’m examining the evolution of the film’s logo.

This is how your beloved Apple rolls. Basically stymie the competition, then offer their own service that will end up making you pay more in the end (and more to Apple, of course). #apple #businessscum #aholes

Anyone else in Canada using Telus for their home internet? They're now charging data overages for internet usage that exceeds the caps they've implemented. Feeling quite pissed about this as I'm a new Telus client and was told this wouldn't happen when I signed up just 5 months ago.   #telus   #bs   #datacap

Amazing company - amazing crew - amazing adventures. I had an opportunity to embark on the Orca Lite tour in late August and everything from the scenery to the food exceeded my expectations. I was thoroughly impressed with the professionalism and quality of Spirit of the West and the crew.

Randy and Jason are my go-to guys for computer repair/maintenance/upgrades. They've always been prompt with my service, and provide good value for the dollar.

Beautiful spot to take the kids and enjoy the sights and sounds of the Nanaimo harbour. Summer weekends always seem to have things going on as well.

Great little cafe that we tend to visit often. Service and food both great. Try the cinnamon buns and the wraps!
