For the love of all that is holy, why must your cell phone make a bubble sound every time you touch it?

IF THE TEENAGER WAS NAKED HOW MUCH OF A THREAT COULD HE HAVE BEEN TO YOU?
Tuesday’s revelation that a naked 17-year-old had no weapon when he was killed Monday by an Austin police officer ignited an outcry about how police responded and left some leaders in the African-American community questioning the officer’s actions before he pulled the trigger.

And there were two cops. What the hell are batons and tazers for? Photo-ops?

I was able to play a test copy of this game back in December. It's tons of fun and I'm happy to back it on Kickstarter. Check it out. It's really clever in both the game mechanics and the sense of humor behind it all.
The Clintons, Bushes, Roosevelts, and Kennedys go head to head for their family's domination of American Politics.

Actual work interaction.

Coworker: This file your department sent a client is wrong.
Me: Please call the person who made the file because there seems to be some confusion with the instructions.
Coworker: (Sends instructions via email)
Me: WHY DID YOU JUST RESEND THE INSTRUCTIONS I JUST SAID WERE CAUSING CONFUSION INSTEAD OF PICKING UP THE PHONE TO CLEAR UP THE ISSUE?

I think we should all agree right now that the plural is "Captains America."
Right now, there’s only one Captain America flying through the skies of Marvel’s mainline comic-book universe. But later this year, the original super-soldier will be back in the red-white-and-blue. And don’t worry about current shield-wielder Sam Wilson; he’ll sticking around. That’s right: two Caps at the same time.

I was happily surprised to find this gem in a mall that for a great part is vacant and barren. Their comic selection is vast and well organized and they had plenty of copies of the issues I was searching out even days after they were released. It was very easy to browse and both find what I needed and scan other possibilities.

This place provides a pretty disappointing movie going experience. Admittance is granted for children far too young to be in a theater for anything other than a G or PG movie and they chatter through the whole thing. Adults aren't much better with mouths open and cell phones out. Food is okay, but there isn't anything special or unique beyond typical theater fare. If you can, find a place that encourages more respect for the film viewing experience.

This is a really small Starbucks location but it's very close to a bunch of restaurants and shopping. This makes it really busy and have a really crowded parking lot, but it's a decent spot if you're already there and want to get coffee as part of your trip somewhere nearby. With its size is much less of a hangout-type Starbucks as there isn't any sort of comfortable seating for sitting and reading awhile, but there is seating with tables if you want to get work done. The menu here is much smaller than other locations.

The new location for Dragon's Lair is a big improvement over their older Burnet Road spot. Things are much brighter and more spread out and you don't feel like you are crawling over things to browse the shelves and racks. Sections are grouped together pretty well so if you're in the market for only games or only comics you can find what you need pretty easily. The only real drawback of the new location is how hectic the shopping center its in can be and parking can sometimes be a bit of a bear.

There is a great variety of food trucks here all ringing a central bar and seating area. I've had food from a few of the trucks here and have yet to be disappointed. The pizza was especially great. Sadly the bathroom situation here is woefully inadequate and if you come on a busy night you're in for a wait for food, drinks, or to use the restroom.

Tino's does really quality, solid Greek food. The meat main courses are really the stars of the show and are freshly cut, moist and juicy, and seasoned very well. If you get a plate cafeteria-style, your meat is accompanied by a wide variety of sides and you can pick three and get a good variety of what they have to offer. The one real downside of this spot is the furniture, some of which seams really beat up with rips and stuffing showing through.

I'm really pleased to have made the decision to buy a barely-used car with the folks here. The website is really useful and I was able to easily do some research ahead of time and have some cars to look at in person in mind. When I arrived, I was helped by a salesperson Aco quite quickly. We checked out the cars I had previewed and took the top two for a test drive. Everything about this was easy and free of pressure. When I made my decision, the guidance through the purchase and finance aspects were quick and painless.
