I crack myself up.

Yeah, we're surprised too. Cuba pulled off a win tonight and will be our quarterfinal competitors this Saturday in Baltimore.

I would like to buy this guy a drink. I'd do the same if I was ever in the vicinity of this clown.

ESPN The Magazine's Body Issue came out this week, and in true corporate synergy fashion, Marvel artists have done some pretty cool nude drawings of the heroes they work on.
Every day, Marvel's top comic book artists illustrate the world's mightiest super heroes. In the spirit of The Mag's Body Issue, a mix of those artists took to their drawing boards to craft bold images of Marvel's characters like never before.

I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. It was clean and cozy, and the staff was very friendly. And it all came at a reasonable price. I was within a reasonable walk of all the central San Antonio destinations I had planned on visiting and the parking lot was handy to have so I could just leave my car and wander the area by foot. The breakfast was better than advertised in the hotel's online listings. There was some construction and noise in the hotel due to some recent storms in the area, but the staff was very up front about that issue ahead of time and their polite communication was very much appreciated.

I like most things about this new East Riverside Starbucks location. It's a Starbucks Reserve location, so they have a good selection of world coffee options beyond what you may find at a typical location. The complex must have been set up with a Starbucks in mind because the drive through is very well set up so it doesn't clog up the parking lot or make pedestrian visitors navigate a line of cars to get in. The one strike against this location that keeps it from getting five stars is the lack of comfortable seating. There really aren't any accommodating seats for sitting and reading, as if they are purposely discouraging coming to sit and read for a few hours.

Definitely not worth a trip back for me; I had only checked it out because I had been in the area and thought they might have a new issue I needed. The selection is small yet at the same time that small selection is very disorganized. The shop is very small and cramped and cluttered. The atmosphere was pretty uncomfortable. I left with no purchases when they didn't have a somewhat recent comic that should have been readily in stock.

This place certainly satisfied this guy who grew up on the east coast and is something of a sub snob. The bread they use is the perfect size for hoagies with that nice balance of crisp outside and soft middle. The meats and cheeses were fresh and in a lot of pretty perfect combinations. Be sure to add one of the locally made pickles they sell to your meal.

The new location for the East Riverside Walgreens is a huge improvement over where they used to be just a block away. It's nice that it's now part of a group of stores and restaurants so one can easily park once and make a few stops in a single trip. It's a brighter and cleaner spot making things seem much more friendly and accommodating. Walgreens has gone from a place that I avoid to my primary pharmacy.

I had a pretty poor experience at this Sprint Store location. I had made an online appointment to activate a new phone and didn't wasn't aided by the staff until half an hour after the appointment time. There was very little attempt on the part of the staff to be warm or welcoming to the folks who were standing in line. And when I finally got helped the in-store staff had issues activating the phone leading me to spend an hour with telephone help only to leave with no new phone whatsoever. I understand the technical issues but the poor service and unfriendly atmosphere will have me seeking out other Sprint locations in the future.

These guys were super helpful with a cracked screen issue I had. Service was done by the next day which was a really impressive turnaround considering it was SXSW week and I'm sure they were inundated with repairs from festival goers facing issues with their devices. When it turned out the screen that was installed was faulty they provided a replacement with the same quick, friendly service. Great folks and it's a good location at the western edge of downtown with a good sized lot.
