How many categories should we have? Should they be listed in alphabetical order? And, should hover-activated menus be eliminated since touch devices don’t allow hovering? #ux   #ia
The number and order of navigation categories, and use of hover menus for touchscreens are frequently asked questions that arise when organizing information on a website or application.

Santa has, over time, designed the kind of user experience that causes a palpable frenzy of joy in children across the world. He is the ultimate experience designer: from user research to planning and taxonomy, and from implementation to launch. #uxdesign   #christmas   #delite
UXmas is a digital advent calendar for user experience designers. Every day throughout December in the lead-up to Christmas, a bauble is opened to reveal a new gift to the UX community.

Use the golden ratio in web, #uidesign  to achieve a visually appealing layout and to prioritize your information better.

Microsoft is using Golden Ratio in #UI design. I used similar layout with golden ratio on a few projects so I noticed it right away. I find it much better looking than column/grid layouts. It also prioritizes information better #windows10

More insight and opinions about the hamburger icon. It sure is complicated. #uxdesign
Mobile traffic is a significant part of most websites, and smooth navigation for mobile users is critical. Most websites use the hamburger navigation icon

I used Monroe Auto to apply a 35% tint to my Mercedes-Benz last week. The installer did a fine job and the price was right: $399 compared to the dealership cost of $599 for the same Llumar product. I'm always glad to support a local business and will recommend Jim and his team for window tinting.
