I've been playing with the #AndroidWear "Developer Preview" apis and it seems pretty cool. I specially like the fact that Google has a round skin for the UI. Can't wait to get a watch so that I can start playing with the real deal instead of SDK emulators.
No. I've just installed the preview and played with it a bit. It's useful for learning the API but from what I hear the API might change until the real release during Google IO. It's basically a notification system for your app. So when you have a message to the user on your phone not only is it appears on the phone but on the wearable as well. I haven't played with Google glasses yet but I'm guessing it's very similar to it as well.
Just finished "The Amazing Spider-Man" #229. I have been reading this series for a few years now when I started with the #001 issue. It's interesting to see how the values and worries of society change throughout the decades. Comic books reflect society's values well. Makes for great contemporary escapism from a simpler era.
Just finished #Hyperion. The first book in the series. What an amazing story. The right proportions of religion, fantasy and science fiction. No wonder this book was nominated for the #HugoAward and won it in 1989.
Good hotel. Room was very nice, the amenities such as the bar, restaurant and main lobby were also great. My only disappointment was the breakfast buffet which was too simple and running low when we arrived.
